L'Olivera is a small hotel just 5kms from the beautiful beaches of the Costa Dorada. Guests can enjoy the spa with Jacuzzi, sauna and heated pool as well as typical Catalan cuisine! And if you need more relaxation then there is a professional masseur on hand.

Wine lovers can visit local vineyards (Penedes and Priorato are local offerings). There are also several monasteries nearby and we are just 1 hour from vibrant Barcelona, full of Gaudi's distinctive artwork and architecture. Tarragona with its Roman ruins is just 30 minutes away and families can have a fun day out at Port Aventure and Aqualeon.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region

Costa Daurada is graced with a quintessentially Mediterranean climate, marked by mild winters and warm summers. In winter, this is due to the mistral wind, which blows in from the northwest, and the garbí, which blows from the southwest; in summer, the region's low humidity prevents the formation of fog.

The region's mountainous geography likewise contributes to its stable climate, making it an optimum place to enjoy outdoor activities all year long. Average temperatures range from approximately 14º in winter to between 21º and 29º in summer. However, it is worth noting the sharp contrast between the region's coastal and mountain areas, where average temperatures are generally 2º to 4º lower.

Albinyana area

Municipality in El Baix Penedès, bordering with el Camp de Tarragona.The township takes up 19.56 km2 that go from la Serra del Quadrell to la Riera de la Bisbal that drains the place. The mountains are mostly covered with pine and holm-oak woods.

The town (198 metres above sea level) is located in the northern part of la Serra del Quadrella. The suburbs of Les Peces, les Masies del Torrent and Tomaví also belong to Albinyana.
