Trulli with Private Pool in the heart of the Valle d'Itria, conservatively restored and tastefully furnished. This small complex of trulli with private pool offers tranquility and comfort, allowing you to enjoy the beauty and advantages of the Apulian countryside.?

This typical Apulian Holiday Home with Private Pool (10x5mt) is located in a quiet and private area, enriched with secular olive trees and fruit trees (figs, pears, cherries and almonds) and with no other buildings in the near surroundings. The holiday Trulli cones have maintained their original aspect after having been carefully restored and converted into a comfortable and romantic condo.??

Trullo Mario is located near the beautiful town of Alberobello (UNESCO World Heritage Site and the World Capital of Trulli).??

The interior spaces are as follows:

?- Living and dining area in Trullo with comfortable double sofa bed situated in alcove; ?

- Small kitchen area which is, despite of not being very spacious, well-equipped and very functional;

?- Bathroom equipped with toilet and shower; ?

- Small hallway to the bedroom;

?- Double bedroom;

??The outdoor area is well-equipped with on one side of the pool a gazebo with outside dining table with chairs and near the house is a masonry barbecue. The lush garden around the pool area is well maintained and populated with vegetation typical of Puglia.

??The beautiful pool of 10x5mt is exclusively for the use of the guests of the Trullo. Besides an convenient outdoor shower there are wooden sun beds provided for maximum relaxation.

??We highly recommend this property for its excellent quality / price ratio and for all those families looking to get away from the daily stress, spending their holidays in an area characterized by tranquility and privacy that only these large green spaces can give.

The Puglia/Molise region

Puglia is a wonderful area to consider. It offers at least one excellent archaeological museum, a host of cathedrals dating back to the 10th century, Greek and Roman ruins, a gleaming necklace of lively fishing villages, one of Europe's largest forests, a chain of medieval hilltowns, and some of the very cleanest beaches and water in the Mediterranean.

Alberobello

Alberobello literally means 'beautiful tree' and this is where many of the distinctive 'trulli': Whitewashed cones made of stones, at the top there is a decoration that has some rebellious or magical meaning.The famous white beehive shaped houses of Puglia have come to symbolise the region. In Alberobello there are over a thousand of them.

Their shape is, in part, due to the economic conditions: at the time it was forbidden to build without the permission of the king Ferdinand I of Aragon, he declared that peasants were not allowed to build permanent homes. Since the stones had no cement, in theory they could be taken apart and moved.

What to see

- The historical centre with the especially typical quarters called "Aia Piccola" and “Monti”, wholly composed of "trulli" united to groups and lined up along precipitous and circuitous lanes that climb the hill.

- Sant'Antonio church, built in 1926 in the form of a trullo.

- The Trullo sovrano, the only one with two floors, built in the 18th century locates in a small square behind the Mother Church
