This beautifully restored trullo is located between the two historic towns of Alberobello and Locorotondo in the small village of Capitolo. Semi rural, yet only 1 km from the local village shop and restaurant. Alberobello and Locorotondo are just a five minute journey and enjoy weekly local markets for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out, open all year round.
The Trullo benefits from its own large private pool, surrounded by trees. Large covered and open areas furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms the luxury trullo is ideal for families and groups, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Puglia/Molise region
The virtually undiscovered region is rural with historic towns perched on the top of the many hills, painted white to reflect the glistening sun. Puglia is Italy’s largest olive oil producing region with olive trees in every garden it is easy to see why. Every town has a market day selling locally produced goods from fresh fruit and veg, to clothes and shoes, a bargain to be found by all. The sun in July and August can be very strong, but with the weather being pleasant from May through to October there is plenty of time to explore this beautiful region.
Alberobello / Capitolo area
Alberobello is an historic town made up with over a thousand “trulli”, a small cylindrical building that peasants built hundreds of years ago to avoid paying taxes, now a popular tourist attraction. At just 5 km away with its many restaurants that are open all year round, it is within easy reach. In late September they hold a large festival where the whole town comes alive for four days with street markets, a fun fair and religious processions.

Further details indoors: The main bedroom is a family room with double bed, single sofa bed and cot. There is a further double bedroom and bedrooms 3 & 4 can be set up as doubles or twin rooms to accommodate most families and groups. Each bedroom has its own private bath or shower room. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with table and chairs.
Further details outdoors: Set in a private garden, large swimming pool surrounded by trees for both privacy and shade, and gated for safety to stop young children wandering around the pool unaccompanied. Covered outdoor eating area for protection from the strong midday sun, and a further covered area to relax in during the day and long into the night. There is a large BBQ to complete the outdoor eating experience.
