Trullo Patrizia
About the home
Trullo Patrizia is simply stunning in every respect!
The most beautiful romantic trullo with a gorgeous pool, in a very private secluded location.
Unlike many other recently renovated properties, Patrizia has not been extended with modern extensions and is completely original.
We have furnished Patrizia to a very high standard, with traditional local furniture and so avoided spoiling the atmosphere with a modern chic look!
The trullo is set in its' own private 5 acres of olive, walnut, fig and cherry trees, on top of a hill, in a beautiful, unspoilt rural location near Alberobello, Puglia.
It has two double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, and one bedroom with double sofa-bed and en suite toilet/basin (a cot is available on request).
The pool is open from mid-May to September - and longer if weather permits.

Enquire nowThe Puglia/Molise region
Puglia is the "heel" of Italy, the South-East peninsula reaching out into the Adriatic and Ionian seas.
The world famous Italian cuisine (as captured recently in the series by Jamie Oliver) is available in abundance and surprisingly cheaply, thanks to the wealth of produce.
It also helps that the holidaymakers from Western Europe have not yet arrived, with prices to suit!
The locals are very laid-back and friendly. In combination with hot summer sun, over 500 miles of unspoilt sandy beaches and coastline, and a generous sprinkling of mediaeval towns, villages, churches and castles, this makes for a very popular holiday destination, especially with the Italians.
Holidaying here is only just catching on with the British, due to the introduction in the last 18 months of direct daily flights by Ryanair to the regional airports of Bari and Brindisi, and twice weekly flights by British Airways to Bari.
There are numerous sites of cultural and archaeological interest, which reflects in the styles and designs of the villages, towns and cities of the region.
The Alberobello area
The area is very rural and traditional, and is regarded as the "garden of Italy".
Most of the country's wine and much of the world's olive oil is produced here, along with oranges, lemons, cherries, and countless other fruit, nuts, vegetables, wheat and a whole range of other agricultural produce. And one should not fail to mention the rich variety of seafood available in local markets and restaurants.

I stayed here with my partner early October for 12 nights. Booking was easy direct with the owner, keys dispatched before we left the Uk and the Trulli is fabulous, exactly as you see in the pictures. Blissfully peaceful, with the sounds from the animals in the farm, nearest property was out of earshot. The pool is great, plenty of opportunity to splash around or swim lengths a we did. Quality of the property was excellent, very well maintained and pretty much everything was thought of. If you want to escape for everything but have shops within 5-10 mins drive, then this is for you, some great restaurants in Alberobello too, we also travelled further south to see the sites on the coast. If you want a get away from busy city life, with tranquil surroundings, a great pad to stay in, then this is for you. It's a place where you will want to spend more time outside than in, I would say it's a place to relax outdoors, with enough room to be in doors when you need to be. Kitchen was well equipped too |

This was our fourth stay at Trullo Patrizia and it never disappoints. Set in a rural location it is an ideal place to stay and use as a base to explore the delights of Puglia be it hill top towns, coastal villages or historic landmarks. If this is not for you relax by the beautiful pool and chill out for the rest of your vacation. Historic Alberobello is a short distance away with restaurants, shops and gelataria to while away the time. Take in a festival or two and enjoy the local traditions. |
