We are delighted to welcome families to our house, which offer every home comfort close to nature to help you relax and unwind. Casa Bosco is one of 5 houses and shares a tennis court and a spectacular salt water swimming pool but each also offers the privacy of individual gardens and balconies. The stunning country estate has recently been lovingly restored to provide fabulous holiday accommodation suitable for year round use – in hot summers and snowy winters.

The North West Italy / Piedmont/Lake Maggiore region

Mombarcaro is an ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy all the pleasures of an Italian countryside holiday. Visitors to Casa Bosco can take long and leisurely walks in the surrounding hills of the Langhe, and wine lovers will particularly enjoy tours of the famous vineyards of Piemonte.

For the more active the roads provide a challenging circuit suitable for keen cyclists. There are also a number of small medieval villages on the hills around Casa Bosco, including Bossolasco, which are well worth exploring for shopping, sight-seeing or enjoying a meal of wild bore specialities or truffle specialities.

The Mediterranean Sea is just 50 kilometers away and the resorts of the Ligurian Coast offering (e.g. seaside walks, casinos, marinas etc.) entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Alba / Alta Langa area

The famous Langhe (Langa in its Italian spelling) wine growing region of Piemonte lies to the south of its capital Alba. It is characterized by rolling hills, vineyards and winding roads which deliver breath taking scenery around every corner.

Tourists world wide come here to follow the “wine trail” through the typical areas of Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba and Nebbiolo d’Alba.

The Langa is also home to the truffle festival held in Alba during October. Each year for about a month and a half Alba is transformed and becomes the world market for truffles. Piazza Bianca hosts up to forty different stands all trading in this sought after commodity.

Fly to Torino or Genova or Cuneo - Casa Bosco is just between1 and 1.5 hour from the airport.

Casa Bosco is a house full of character with a private garden and balcony fully equipped for 4 to 10 people. Casa Bosco has original stone walls, exposed beams, timber floors in the bedrooms and terracotta floors on the ground floor, with under floor heating providing extra warmth for the winter. In keeping with the natural surroundings the house is furnished with handmade wooden furniture using only natural and biologically degradable materials, and the water is heated with solar energy. There is a large kitchen with a fire place and access to the garden, and all essential modern appliances.

Further details outdoors:
The swimmingpool is 42m x 16m big. The water quality is outstandingly good. Salt water smooths the skin and pleases the eyes. One part of the pool is suitable for children.

The property is surrounded by the forest-clad hills and picturesque vineyards of the Langhe, and is within easy reach of a number of villages for day to day shopping.

-Security deposit is 400 EURO. This needs to be paid to the Housekeeper in cash on arrival. The Housekeeper will return the deposit on departure less any damage.

-10% amenity charge per week (incl. weekly change of bed linen, garden, pool and tennis court up keep, electricity and gas costs). To be paid on arrival in cash to the housekeeper.
