The Mallorca/Majorca region
Majorca is one of the favourite destinations in the balearic islands. There are many beautiful beaches the climate here is very agreeable all year round yes it it also seasonal. the capital is palma where you can find an abundance of history including the cathedral of palma, there are many exhibitions and street side cafes and excellent restaurants where you can have tapas and locally caught fish. there are plenty of activities sailing diving amusement parks etc.
Alaro area
Alaro sits just below the impressive mountains of castelle de alaro and saucadena which are steeped in history. the village is a traditional majorcan style and during the year the main square is forever busy with the next fiesta to amuse adults and children alike. the village has all the necessary amenities nearby shops restaurants banks. On saturdays there is the local market with fruit and flowers. it is also a meeting point for a wonderful walk up the mountain where there is a restaurant.
