About the home

Ambassador apartment is located just 30 metres' walk from the beach and is accessed through a safe pedestrian tunnel. It has easy access to all amenities, including the local markets for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. The apartment is quiet and peaceful, yet only 15 minutes outside the main town of Alanya

Each room is equipped with air conditioning. All towels, linen, kitchen appliances are provided and a daily cleaning service is available at a nominal extra cost. The apartment boasts a large furnished balcony. The complex has parking facilities and full time manager. I also have a local English speaking caretaker to help you in the event you require any assistance with your holiday.

The Mediterranean Coast region

The stunning resort of Mahmutlar is located on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, with a spectacular mountain backdrop and great views of the coastline and nearby beaches. One of Mahmutlar's key attractions, however, is its climate. Although it enjoys the typical Mediterranean long, hot summers and mild winters, and is blessed with around 300 days of sunshine a year, the temperature never becomes oppressively hot due to the cool breezes from the nearby Tauras Mountains. This means that even in the height of summer in July and August, the resort retains a refreshing coolness.

The Alanya / Mahmutlar area

Mahmutlar is 15 mins outside Analya and would be considered a quiet area with mainly shops & restaurants. There are many restaurants within 25-250 metres of the apartment and there are 2 main streets in either direction (500-750mtrs) that have many other bars and restaurants, both local and tourist.

The local market is held twice a week ( Tuesdays & Saturdays) and is great for haggling for gifts and presents. If you prefer to self cater it is ideal for doing your food shopping as the fridge can be stocked full with fresh food for less than €50.

The beach runs alongside the whole resort and is great for water sports ( in Analya ) and snorkelling. The cost of the regular local buses into Analya is €1.25 Analya has 2 water parks for the kids, diving and boat trips.
This is a year round resort with average sea temperature of 21.6C which of course provides for a long swimming season. The fact that one can swim in the sea most of the year adds to the attraction. The Alanya fortress is one of the most resistant and best preserved fortresses in the whole of Anatolia. This is well worth a visit either by foot dont worry there are many restaurants and small bars to stop at on the way up or by taxi.

For those seeking lively night life, Analya is the place to go. Bars and taverns cater for every need from the local taverna to sophisticated wine bars and night clubs. Restaurants are varied too with cafes and snack bars to traditional cuisine and continental establishments. The Harbour is the busies area this is where all the nightlife can be found. From Antalya airport it is 90 mins drive to Mahmutlar.

Bus transfers can be made at the same time as booking your flights with some airlines and travel companies for approximately €25 £16 (per person return).

I can also arrange private mini bus pickup to/from the airport ( €60 - £51 one way)

“Felt like home :)” The Ambassador apartments has to be one of the best holiday destinations I have been too, Great location and the pool is brilliant especially for the kids as there is also a slide!! The apartment and pool was so clean and modern which made my stay more enjoyable. All the local pubs and restaurants are in walking distance of each other so no need for taxis. I have now stayed in this apartment for 2years as I love the friendliness of the locals and location of the AMBASSADOR apartments :) Thanks a mill Chris
