My Marine Residence is located just five minutes' walk from the beach, on the outskirts of the town of Mahmutlar. Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the larger resort of Alanya, My Marine Residence has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

This Apartment has an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully fitted with all electrical appliances and is complete with everything you need to make your holiday seem like home from home. The living area has been comfortably furnished with sofas and chairs and includes Satelite TV. There is dining seating for 4 people. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea and mountain views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Mediterranean Coast region

Alanya is a fast growing town about 135 km east of Antalya. Quite often called the pearl of the Turkish Riviera. This little town has become well known world-wide because of its clean, sandy beaches, and crystal clear, deep blue waters mixed with the excellent climate of the Mediterranean sun.

Because of its picturesque back drop of the Taurus Mountains, and its subtropical climate, many people visit Alanya both as a winter health resort and as a summer seaside resort. It is said that Alanya has more than 300 days of sunshine a year. The winters here are very mild with temperatures on a sunny day between 12c – 15c. During winter season from Alanya on a clear day you can see the snow capped mountains of Antalya.

Alanya / Mahmutlar area

There are many places to visit in this region, i.e. Alanya Castle, Dimcay Valley, Damlatas Caves, Side, Manavgat Lakes and many, many more, Turkey is an open museum packed full of ancient history.
Mahmutlar, Alanya has a lot of outdoor activities to suit everyone, like watersports which include, para-sailing, jet skis, banana boats, diving, water skiing, and white water rafting, there is also a water park in Alanya Centre, there are boat trips and day trips, jeep safaris, and much more. Lunch at Dimcay Valley and then have a cool swim in the river, perfect for the summer months.

Mahmutlar, Alanya has over 1000 restaurants so you won’t be stuck for somewhere to eat, there is also a Burger King and 2 Mc Donald’s in the town, perfect for the kids. Some restaurants offer Lavas (a special Turkish flat loaf bread) with a chilli dip and a yoghurt dip, very tasty! But be sure not to have starters as well as you won’t have room for your main course.

How to get there

At the moment Antalya is the nearest airport which is 1.5 to 2 hours drive but now there is a new Alanya / Gazipasa Airport opened which will only be about 20 min drive away from Mahmutlar. It is planned to start operating as from the end of 2009. There should be daily direct flights from the UK and Europe throughout the summer and winter season in due course, meanwhile connecting flights from Istanbul should be available.

The Apartment is very comfortable and in the master bedroom there is a separate dressing room and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom also has a large balcony with excellent views to the mountains and surrounding countryside of Mahmutlar. The twin bedroom has built-in robles and a set of drawers and a window which looks towards the complex pool.

My Marine Residence is set in a quiet and peaceful location on the outskirts of Mahmutlar. Just five minutes walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is a market in the area twice a week. The complex has 24hr security and the gardens are kept immaculate. There are two very large swimming pools as well as a separate water park and children's pool. There is also a children's playground. The complex has it's own Turkish Bath Spa Centre and tennis courts.

We provide a Welcome Breakfast pack to get you started which will include tea, coffee, sugar, cereal etc.. As the apartments are self-catering we will supply a few necessities like toilet paper and kitchen roll. Another important service we provide is that we take you on a guided tour of the complex and point you in the direction of the local shops, restaurants and beach area. We provide the bed linen and towels including T-towels, but not beach towels. There will be an end of week bed linen/towel change and tidy-up.

Conditions

The owners ask that you do not smoke inside the apartment but do so on the balconies.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

EASTER HOLIDAYS PERIOD: 28 March - 10 April 2010 -AND- CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR PERIOD: 20 Dec 09 to 9 Jan 2010 An additional charge of £50/week/booking will apply.

Our prices includes Welcome Pack, Cleaning and Laundry on your arrival. For 2 weeks or more bookings change of sheet/towels and Tidy-up after 7 nights will be included.

1. A provisional booking may be made by telephone or email, dates will be held for 7 days while awaiting payment, if the payment is not received within 7 days the property will become available again. A 10% deposit will be required upon booking. We will confirm your booking with an email once the payment has been received.

2. After booking deposit (10%) a further 40% of total should be paid within 12 weeks of arrival date. The final balance (50%) must be paid within 6 weeks of the rental starting date.

3. Refundable Security Deposits will be paid back to you as soon as the property has been inspected and should be in your account within 7 days.

4. Transfers from/to Antalya Airport are available by a Mini Bus, Cost £10/person each way (min 8 persons) when sharing by a mini-bus. Transfer by a private car cost £60 each way for up to 3 guests with 3 mid-size suitcases and cost £70 each way for up to 4 guests with 4 mid-size suitcases . You may add the transfers and security deposits to the rental costs.

5. Smoking is not permitted inside the property. We would ask you to please use the outside terraces or balconies.

6. We can accept payments by cash or bank transfers (which would be the simplest way to pay) in GBP or Euros to our UK HSBC account and any refunds due would be paid back the same way. Details of our bank account will be forwarded to you once a confirmed booking is made.

Additional information for the benefit of the Guests is shown below and we would ask all guests to please adhere to a few general safety information:

7. Do not allow unsupervised children to use the pool

8. Diving is not permitted

9. Do not use the pool/sea if you have had any alcohol (the insurance companies will not pay out for any medical expenses if you have an accident)

10. Do not run around the pool area

11. Do not run into the house with wet feet

12. The property owners do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage(s) of personal effects however caused while staying in or about the property.

13. The owners will not be liable for change caused by forced major events, i.e. war, riots, strikes, fire, flood, natural disasters, delays at airports or weather conditions or other events beyond their control.

14. We strongly advise you to take out your own holiday and medical insurance for all members of your party.

15. Should you have any problems during your stay please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our utmost best to assist and rectify the matter. Contact details will be supplied with confirmation of booking.
