About the home

This apartment comes highly recomended.
Ideal for those who want a quiet relaxing holiday but also want the biz of the night life, our apartment is very clean and fully equipped to a very high standard, for all your needs.
The apartment (250'mtrs.) consists of :-----
large open plan lounge-kitchen, dining area , with a large balcony with bbq table and chairs.
Fully fitted american style kitchen. fully equipped for all your living and dining needs, .
Large entrance hall.
5 large bedrooms, 3 queen size beds, 4 single beds,
4 with aircondition,
1 with fans.
2 fully tiled bathrooms, one with shower (downstairs),
1 with bath and shower. (upstairs)
large master bedroom upstairs has good size walk out enclosed balcony with 2 sun loungers and chairs, to catch the sun.
The front balconies catch the sun all day, all year around.
There is a third balcony in 2nd double bedroom downstairs to rear of property. Which catches the sun in the late afternoon.
The apartment is furnished to the hightest standard through out.

We are situated in a quieter residencial area of Alanya. within 10 min walking distance to town centre and beach
with shops restaurants, and bars only 1 min walk away.
Ideal share for familie's or couples seeking relaxation, fun or both.
Only a 10/15 min walk to the beach, and biz , or 6 yl taxi ride,

15-20 min walk to the harbour. or 10-12yl taxi ride.
Drive to golf. 1 hour 30mins
Internet access is free of charge. (but bring your own laptop)

There are no hidden extras like most accommodations.

Use of a near-by hotel pool on request. (most hotels will let you use there pool (free of charge) if you buy a drink or some food)

The apartment has an security intercom system which allows you to let people in without the need to go down stairs.

A large selection of DVDs are also available in English, (great for keeping kids amused.)
Hot water is obtained by solar power, but a back up emersion heater is located in the bathroom upstairs, and can be used at any time of the day.
There is a enclosed garden for children to play safely.
Gas bbq on lower balcony. (gas for this not provided)
The apartment is in a nice area of alanya.

Further details outdoors:
This apartment does not have a pool. Most outdoor pools are only usable or availible june-aug. so reflecting on the price of this apart. The use of a nearby hotel pool is possible on request june-sept. The safe sandy beach is only a 10/15 min walk away.
Alanya sports some of the most beautiful beaches in turkey, and the sea is more comfortable to swim in than the pools as they become too hot during the summer months. The beach offers swimming and sports, 8 months of the year. Or why not try the nearby dim chi river, free pick up service's on request,
The upstairs balcony makes for good private, quiet, sunbathing and is safe for children.
Sun umbrellas provided.
Compared with the rest of Europe Turkey is still value for money when dining out, on a whole a lot cheaper, but be sure to haggel the price down at all times in bazars, markets, before buying. at least 30 percent and restaurants/bars most will offer 10per cent reduction.

The Mediterranean Coast region

ALANYA is an all year round holiday resort. The climate in Alanya / Antalya region in the Summer is 26 C – 38 C in the Winter 16 C – 24 C. Usually humid and warm in the summer, warm in the winter; very comfortable for all, whether old or young, Alanya is one of the warmest spots in Turkey. Clear blue sea for miles. East of alanya towards Anamure all the way to Mersin has some of turkeys most spectacular coast roads. Packed full of history all the way. On your visit there are many sites that must be seen including the Great Waterfalls,Acient Roman Theatres and a Turkish Bath is a must.

The Alanya area

Alanya has an extremely warm climate with an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. Known as the Turkish Riviera it not only boasts miles of beaches but also a backdrop of the beautiful Taurus mountains. This makes it possible to ski in the mornings and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoons.

A 13th-century Seljuk fortress - one of the most magnificent sights on the coast - crowns the headland. About 150 towers punctuate the walls of the well preserved, double walled citadel.
Alanya is located on the Shore of the Mediterranean upon the slopes of the Tauras Mountains.
The City is sourrended by ancient walls,of the old Castle which lies in the centre of this beautiful City.
Alanya has been home to many civilizations and is steeped in History.

The surviving buildings of alanya reflect the importance of the city in Seljuk times. Besides the impressive citadel tourists should explore the unique dockyards and the famous Octagonal Kizil Kule (Red Tower).
If the intense sun overpowers you, take a day trip to the Dim Cay Valley, 15km east of Alanya, where you can relax in the shade of this scenic valley and enjoy a Picnic at one of the many floating restaurants while listening to the river rushing by or having a cool dip.

Alanya is a beautiful holiday centre of modern hotels and motels, numerous excellent fish restaurants, cafes and bars.
The area also offers a choice of simple authentic Turkish restaurants, some 5* dining, as well as McDonalds and Burger King!

There is a choice of water parks, cinema and bowling, day trips, a multitude of shops, markets and night-life till all hours.
The beaches are fabulous and the water crystal-clear, glistening against the imposing backdrop of the Taurus mountain range.

Flights to Antalya Airport from all main UK and europe airports.
Transfers can be arranged with mini bus or taxi from £50or 60 euros(4) /£100 or 120 euros(10)each way (depending on partysize) 1hour30mins approx, a straight road. following the spectacular taurus mountains on one side and the beautiful flat coast line on the other.
car hire can be arranged at reasonable rate on request. approx £150. per week high season. (if booked from airport... it will do away with transfer costs)

Fantastic 2 week holiday, the apartment and alanya lived up to the discription, and more.. we were looked after from start to finnish. Not having a pool made no difference to our stay, we used to pool at a nearby hotel, all we had to do was buy some drinks. Got to say we were a little, worried about this before we went.. But we did not have to put up with the noise of other people all day which was really nice. we spent most days at the beach, . We seen a lot of the town on the motor scooters we hired localy.
Would recommend to anyone,, .
p.s. "TIP" we brought the mother in-law to baby sit..

We stayed at the apartment at the beginning of September 08. The apartment is very big, clean and has absolutely everything you need for living. It has 5bedrooms (4 bedrooms with air cons) and spacious living room with open plan kitchen. Also 2 large and 1 small balconies. The whole apartmenthas very nice furniture and built up to the highest standards. We really liked it. If we had any questions, Helen and Kevin (owners) were always one phone call away. Apartment is located almost in the centre of the town,but in a very quite area, so no loud music at night. Its 10-15 minutes walk to the famous Cleopatra beach. Cleopatra beach is 14 km long and stretches on both sides of Alanya Castle. Alladin side of Cleopatra beach is much nicer then other parts and very close to the apartment. We stayed with a small baby (1y.o) and we used a car to get to/from beach (4 minutes). The car hire was arranged by Helen and we picked up the car in the airport (£19/day). You can alsohire cars and scooters in Alanya. Cars 30-40 Euro/Day. Scooters 10-15 Euro/Day. Parking is free almost everywhere. We also have been provided by a mobile phone with turskish sim card. All Incoming calls were free. SMS abroad costed 9p/sms. We also found that exchange ratesare much better in Alanya. Exchange office is 5 minutes walk from the apartment. We were also buying foods from hyper market called Kipa. Very similar toTesco. (7 minutes drive from the apartment).
