Home description

Recently built luxury apartment block with communal room, café/bar, gym and sauna, the latter two being free of charge. The apartments have 24 hour security throughout the complex and a video controlled entrance. Luxury and spacious ground floor apartment with air conditioning. Large private balcony, the side of which overlooks the pool and connects the kitchen, lounge and bedroom. All windows are fitted with sunscreens and mosquito nets, though mosquitoes are not a problem. The two bedrooms (one double and one twin) both have fitted wardrobes and are furnished to the highest quality with plenty of drawer space, etc. The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and cooking pans and utensils. There are two bathrooms, one housing the built-under washing machine. Iron and ironing board also available. The living/dining room is huge and again furnished to the highest quality. TV with DVD and CD player.
Outside there is a swimming pool with children's section and play park, the pool having water jets and bubbles for extra fun. There is an interesting market just 2 minutes walk from the apartment and next to the town centre where there is a variety of bars, shops, cafés etc. The is a regular (and very cheap) bus service taking you into the main town of Alanya, which is only 10 minutes away. There you can appreciate the stunning castle views and experience the hustle and bustle of a beautiful Turkish city.

The Mediterranean Coast region

The summer temperatures in Alanya range from 26c-38c. In the winter it is 16c-24c warm. Suitable for all age groups. Alanya is noted as having one of the best climates in Turkey.

The temperatures are good all year round, with hot summers and mild winters, making it the ideal holiday location whenever you choose to take a break.

Alanya / Mahmutlar area

Mahmutlar is in southern Turkey, situated on the Mediterranean coastline approximately 140km from Antalya. The apartment is situated here in Mahmutlar, only 200 metres from the sandy beach and a 2 minute walk to the local market, where there is an abundance of local produce, clothes, toys and household goods to amuse all ages. A minute further on, you come to the town centre, which again has something for everyone. The restaurant owners are friendly and cheerful, always willing to recommend something different for you and taking the time to tell you about the ingredients and the way the meal is cooked. There are water parks for the children, tennis courts nearby and of course, the swimming pool in the complex is state of the art and fun for everyone, with its own children's pool for added safety.

Catch one of the local buses into Alanya, which is only a 10 minute journey and very inexpensive. It boasts some of the best beaches on the coastline and is bordered by the breathtaking Taurus mountains. Alanya has a beautiful marina from where you can organise boat trips and is a port for Mediterranean cruises. You can ferry to Cyprus from here too. Alanya has a variety of shops, bars, cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Above Alanya you will see Alanya castle. Take a trip up the winding roads and you will find some of the best restaurants you could hope for, looking down on the castle and marina. What more could you ask for?

There are discos, bars and restaurants - in fact all sorts of night-life are catered for, regardless of age.

Between Mahmutlar and Alanya you must not miss a unique dining experience on the river. Look at the photo gallery and you will see for yourself.

Golf is only an hours drive away at Belek.

On your visit there are many sites that must be seen including the Great Waterfalls, Ancient Roman Theatres and pampering yourself with a visit to a Turkish Bath is a must.

From UK - cheap flights with Thomas Cook to Antalya.
Other airlines also operating - try skyscanner.net who will shop around for you to get the cheapest prices.
Car hire is simple and reasonably inexpensive or you can easily take a taxi from the airport to Mahmutlar.

I feel that I have to write to you to say what a lovely time we had in your apartment, we found it to be without a doubt perfect. I have stayed in many holiday rentals, but your apartment was like home from home - I loved it.

The lounge was beautifully furnished, the kitchen had everything you could want, (top of the range appliances) - I feel I could go on and on about it, situated in a great area, 5 minutes walk to the sea and 2 minutes to all the buses. Also a swimming pool, for those who love to relax.

Any one looking for an holiday with a bit of comfort, this was the place to be - in fact I will be contacting you with the dates for 2009 for our next holiday.

Just to say what a wonderful stay I had in Alanya. I found the apartment gorgeous, perfectly placed for the beach and shops, and very tranquil - especially while sitting on the balcony watching the sun going down and reading my book in peace. The 2 weeks I had there were very nice, and like home from home with lovely furnishings, a good size apartment, and all the utilities in the kitchen I needed. As I was on my own it was comforting to know that security were helpful and welcoming, and on watch 24hrs (and looking after my bike :)) ). Look forward to staying there again soon.
