Carmen 2 is located just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, on the outskirts of the town. Quiet and peaceful, yet only ten minutes from the larger resorts such as Alanya, the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. Buses run every 5 minutes and are cheap. The apartment benefits from a pool, with a shallow pool perfect for the children. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony overlooking the pool and tennis courts. With one double and one twin bedroom both with balconies the apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Mediterranean Coast region
Alanya has an extremely warm climate with an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. Known as the Turkish Riviera it not only boasts miles of beaches but also a backdrop of the beautiful Taurus mountains. This makes it possible to ski in the mornings and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoons.
A 13th-century Seljuk fortress - one of the most magnificent sights on the coast - crowns the headland. About 150 towers punctuate the walls of the well preserved, double walled citadel.
If the intense sun overpowers you, take a day trip to the Dim Cay Valley, 15km east of Alanya, where you can relax in the shade of this scenic valley and enjoy a Picnic, or the floating restaurants while listening to the stream rushing by (very close to apartment).
Alanya is a beautiful holiday centre of modern hotels and motels, numerous excellent fish restaurants, cafes and bars.
The surviving buildings reflect the importance of the city in Seljuk times. Besides the impressive citadel tourists should explore the unique dockyards and the famous Octagonal Kizil Kule (Red Tower).

There is a choice of water parks, cinema and bowling, a multitude of shops, markets and night-life till all hours. The beaches are fabulous and the water crystal-clear, glistening against the imposing backdrop of the Taurus mountain range.

The nearest airport is Antalya (about 1.5 hours drive along the coast road from Tosmur You can fly there from most UK and foreign airports. We have an arrangement with our business partner based in Alanya who will pick you up from the airport and take you to the apartment. For this airport transfer they charge 60 euros each way .
