This 2 floor penthouse apartment is situated in the quiet suburb of Mahmutlar, just outside the main town of Alanya. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The beach (30mtrs)is accessed through a pedestrian tunnel.
Bathrooms with toilets and showers are located on both floors with the main bathroom having a jacuzzi bath as well. Large entertaining balcony on the top floor complete with its own built in barbecue area and sunloungers.
All towels, linen, kitchen applicances are provided and a daily cleaning service is available at a nominal extra cost. The complex has parking facilities and full time manager. I also have a local English speaking caretaker to help you in the event you require any assistance with your holiday. Complimentary essentials provided for your arrival date.

The Mediterranean Coast region
The key to Mahmutlar as a holiday destination is that even in July/August the temperature is not excessive due to the Tauras Mountains that provide a backdrop to the resort. This combined with its location on the Mediterranean Sea keeps a refreshing coolness to the resort even in the height of summer. Alanya has around 300 days of sunshine annually.
Alanya / Mahmutlar area
Mahmutlar is 15 mins outside Analya and would be considered a quiet area with mainly shops & restaurants. There are many restaurants within 25-250 metres of the apartment and there are 2 main streets in either direction (500-750mtrs) that have many other bars and restaurants, both local and tourist.
The local market is held twice a week ( Tuesdays & Saturdays) and is great for haggling for gifts and presents. If you prefer to self cater it is ideal for doing your food shopping as the fridge can be stocked full with fresh food for less than €50. There are many local butchers and again I stocked my fridge for 4 people with steaks, chicken and lamb for the week for €70.
The beach runs alongside the whole resort and is great for water sports ( in Analya ) and snorkelling. The cost of the regular local buses into Analya is €1.25 Analya has 2 water parks for the kids, diving and boat trips.
Within 30mins to 2 hours there are many sites to visit to see the ancient Turkey and a trip to the Aspendos is recommended particularly if you can visit during the many theatre/dance/opera performances that are held there.
For those seeking lively night life, Analya is the place to go. The harbour and city has many bars and restaurants open into the night. Taxis available.
How to get there
From Antalya airport it is 90 mins drive to Mahmutlar. Car hire can be arranged in advance or in the resort. I have arranged a deal with car hire company across from the complex. If you hire a car for a week, they will meet you at the airport and drive you or accompany you to the apartment if you wish of course!
Bus transfers can be made at the same time as booking your flights with some airlines and travel companies for approximately €25 £16 (per person return).
I can also arrange private mini bus pickup to/from the airport ( €90 £60 for a 12-14 seat bus one way)
Taxis are available at the airport and are government regulated. Prices are displayed prominantly around the airport.
