Nichole Apartment, in Mahmutlar, is ideal for a relaxing holiday: only 500 meters from the beach, with a beautiful view of the sea, mountains, and castle. Recent development of the infrastructure has resulted in an area that is well serviced by restaurants and bars; local bus routes that are a joy to experience, taxis that will take you to the non stop shopping, nightlife and culture that is Alanya.
The apartment is wonderfully located and combines the modern with the traditional in the quality and contemporary apartments and the truly warm friendly locals you will meet. Situated on the third floor via lift or stairs with a wonderful aspect facing the street, ideal for those people watching moments or taking in the sea and mountain views! There are a number of supermarkets/shops/ cybercafés in the neighboring blocks where you can purchase most of your groceries or take a coffee with the locals.
There are three balconies - with lovely sea, street and mountain views - perfect for dining or having drinks. The balcony from the main bedroom overlooks the pool and provides the ideal spot for a private rest or drink before you head out for the evening. All balconies are furnished with tables and seating outside there is a pool belonging to the block along with a sunbathing and grassed area to relax or an area for the children to play.
The apartment has an intercom system which allows you to let people in without the need to go down stairs. The block is owned entirely by UK families and you will find it is cared for and managed to a high standard. The Mediterranean Coast region
The climate in Alanya / Antalya region in the Summer is 26 C – 38 C in the Winter 16 C – 24 C. Usually humid and warm in the summer, warm and rainy in the winter; very comfortable for all, whether old or young, Alanya is one of the warmest spots in Turkey.
Alanya is a popular seaside resort in southern Turkey, about 150 km east of Antalya. To the east and west of Alanya you find some of the best beaches in Turkey, the Taurus Mountains provide a breathtaking backdrop to the north. Most of old Alanya lies on the great rocky promontory that juts out into the sea.
In the old town you find many old houses, towers and mosques, as well as a nice small harbour. At the waterfront there are plenty of friendly bars, tea-houses, cafes and restaurants with an excellent range of international and traditional cuisine.
Alanya / Mahmutlar area
High above Alanya you find an impressive 14-th century citadel. Within its walls are quaint houses, mosques and a Byzantine church decorated with frescoes. There are twisting narrow alleyways tempting shoppers with their colourful boutiques and stalls of cheese-cloth dresses, carpets, copper and jewellery.
Below the citadel you find sea caves and grottoes. Some can only be reached by boat but you can walk up to the most famous, Damlatas or "Cape of Dripping Stones". The beautiful cave has a host of impressive stalactites and stalagmites with a moist warm atmosphere said to benefit asthma sufferers.
As well as its cultural and historical sights, Alanya has an unbeatable beach life too. Beautiful sandy Cleopatra beach lies to the west of the resort while the fine sands of Alanya beach stretch to the east. A good range of water-sports are available too.
The nightlife is easy-going and relaxed with a wide choice of night-spots located at the edge of town. Take your pick from lively bars to late-night discos for real night-owls.
Mahmutlar is a small developing town about 8km from Alanya with excellent restaurants, bars and beaches. You can use the local transport system called a dolmus costing about 1 euro to get into Alanya or use the taxis costing 15 euros.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Antalya (about 1.5 hours drive along the coast road from Mahmutlar). You can fly there from most UK and foreign airports.
Our business partner based in Alanya can pick you up from the airport, take you to the apartment, show you around etc. They charge 60 euros each way for up to 4 people and 85 euros for up to 6 people.

Finished to a high standard, the apartment boasts tiled floors throughout, ornate ceiling in the lounge with combination lighting and voile curtains around the walls.
The lounge is air conditioned, spacious and comfortable, furnished with sofa, chairs, coffee table and display units. The sofa and chairs convert to provide extra sleeping facilities if needed. The apartment has one air conditioned double bedroom and one air conditioned twin bedroom.
