AMAZING VIEWS AND TRANQUILITY ARE WHAT MAKES OBA TEPE SPECIAL

Our apartment is in a small block of just 16 homes and has panoramic views of the Tauras mountains, Alanya castle and the Mediterranean sea.

Comfortable, well furnished and spacious accommodation - sleeping 1-6 people - is provided, coupled with use of shared garden, large sun terrace and swimming pool.

The apartment is located on the hillside a few minutes drive from Alanya Centre, giving guests peace and relaxation coupled with easy access to the livelier side of Alanya and amazing views both day and night.

The complex is well served by local transport - buses, taxis etc; meaning that you can really have the best of both worlds, peace and tranquillity all within easy reach of fantastic beaches, exciting sports, culture, shopping and nightlife...

WHY DID WE BUY THIS APARTMENT?

When looking for our 'place in the sun', Oba Tepe was the one that stuck out from all the rest. It's elevated site means panoramic views, peace and privacy, whilst the location provides easy access to great beaches and nightlife and a relaxing haven for couples or families to enjoy their hard earned holiday!

The amount of space, inside and out, was also a huge attraction. The apartment is clean, light and spacious and the attractive walled garden and pool area is a great asset. Also, as the apartment overlooks the pool, older children can play whilst being supervised from either the balcony or the lounge.

Finally, we bought this apartment, in this block because, like many other owners here, we fell in love with it, and we're sure everyone who stays here will feel the same way!

The apartment has a great balcony with seating for 6 and fantastic views towards the mountains, sea and Alanya castle.

The apartment block is set within a secure, well kept landscaped garden, with large sun terrace, picinic area, patio furniture and sunloungers, fabulous swimming pool and childrens pool.

Conditions

Following initial enquires, we can hold dates (if available) for 7 days in order for flights to be booked. After this time, we will require a 20% non refundable deposit to be paid by return with completion of a booking contract.

You will be required to pay a £100 security deposit (refundable on return if there are no damages/breakages), plus a £35 cleaning charge.

The balance of your holiday and the security deposit are due 8 weeks before departure, the exact date will be confirmed on your booking contract.

If your booking is made less than 8 weeks before departure, full payment will be required on confirmation of booking.

If your booking is made less than 2 weeks before departure, payment will only be accepted by bank transfer.

The Mediterranean Coast region

The Mediterranean Coast - "Wild cliffs, ancient cities, Crusader castles and gentle turquoise seas make this area a holiday paradise" (Insight Guides, 2009)

We love this description of the Mediterranean Coast of Turkey because it really does encompass some of the great elements of what to expect in this region. However, one thing it doesn't go far enough to describe is the warmth of the people and the welcome tourists receive when visiting this area.

All this, coupled with hot summers and mild winters (and 300 days of sunshine a year!) make this a great region to holiday in!

The Alanya / Alanya Oba area

"An elegant, broad-avenued town, which is justifiably one of Turkey's most popular resorts, with a fine harbour and a peaceful, unhurried air." (Insight Guides, 2009)

Built around a fortified harbour and castle, Alanya is a fascinating combination of old and new. In the old quarter, ancient stone streets, hidden behind rambling city walls, provide an oasis of calm with great views to the blue horizon. In contrast, the new town is a large Turkish centre in its own right, with all the bars, restaurants and shops you’d expect from a modern resort.

There are a huge number of things to do in Alanya and the surrounding area - from watersports to historic site and boat trips to mountain walking and canyon swimming!

A large number of restaurants will offer a free pick up/drop home service, great if you want a really relaxing evening.

Alanya is full of shops offering leather apparel, souvenirs, ceramics, jewellery, and other items popular with tourists. ‘Designer fakes’ products are plentiful and can be picked up for a real bargin with a little bit of haggling. There are also two shopping centres in Alanya with a range of international shops, and a weekly market.

There is a wide range of nightlife in Alanya including traditional cafes, relaxing restaurants and clubs open to the small hours.

Alanya is on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, approximately 90 minutes from Antalya airport. The drive is along a very good road, passing through attractive countryside/coast line scenery. Full route information provided.

“Superb break” Straight forward trouble free booking, modern apartment for a comfortable stay. Friendly caretaker stayed up to give us the keys to the apartment and was at hand for any assistance required. The location was ideal for we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the city. It offered gorgeous quiet nights relaxing on the balcony with entertainment being only 5 min drive away if you were after a good night out. Most restaurants offered a pick up services if you choose not to drive. The owners provided very clear instructions for getting around, maps and also booklets etc on days out, main attractions and directions to the nearest hospital which is handy to have when travelling with two young children. My kids loved it and the apartment was very clean with very comfy beds and clean linen. We were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this to all my friends.

“Comfortable and very relaxing” Enjoyed having the freedom of a peaceful, comfortable and pleasant apartment, but able to get to shops easily. Would recommend a car rental if you want to go further afield, but could rely on buses and taxis if needed to. Particularly enjoyed the pool and patio, and the well maintained gardens, together with the wonderful views.

“A nice quiet apartment , good for relaxing after a busy day in Alanya” The apartment is located in a quiet part of Alanya. Its good that is has a private swimmingpool, so you can relaxe after a busy day in Alanya or the countryside.

“A great place to stay with fantastic views” I have stayed in few different places around Alanya in the past but this was by far the best,a quiet place with great views of Alanya castle aswell as the sea and of of course the mountains. The Kids really loved it as every thing was at hand. The shops are a stroll away but if you have children I do recommend hiring a car to make things easier. Overall it was a good holiday and the owners should be proud of their well located pad.

“Great apartment with fantastic views” The apartment is really well decorated and maintained. Everything is virtually brand new and very clean throughout. The location is not in one of the main shopping/restaurant areas of Alanya, but I think this is more than compensated for by the peaceful surroundings and fantastic views all round. There are a couple of grocery shops nearby that seem to be open all hours, so you can always get the basics. There is a local bus service, with a bus stop just 10 minutes walk away, but depending on your circumstances, you may want to consider hiring a small car. Driving is very easy, with relatively low levels of traffic. It could also work out cheaper than taxis, if you make a couple of trips a day, and would certainly be more convenient than the bus. The apartment was easy to book, and the owners provided lots of information before the holiday, as well as a detailed folder containing local information in the apartment itself. I would whole heartedly recommend this apartment, and would definitely go back. Response: Thank you very much for your review, and the lovely comments. “Fantastic!!” Myself and a friend (aged 24 & 34) decided to travel to Alanya, having not been before, did not really know what to expect. We flew to Antalya airport where we were picked up by a transfer company the owner of the apartment had sorted out for us. We arrived at the apartment early hours of the morning but the caretaker was there ready and waiting for us with a set of keys and to show us round. The apartment was excellent, very modern, spacious and with all appliances brand new, oven, hob, washing machine etc. The view from the balcony was beautiful looking straight over the mountains and sea. The pool was shared with other residents in the apartments which was two families whilst we were there so pretty much had the pool to ourselves! The location is perfect, away from all the noise in the town which is nice during the day relaxing by the pool, but a short drive away from the nearest town (Oba). The caretaker provides a (cheaper than taxi service) at any time day and night, which was very handy. He can take you to the local supermarket and wait whilst you do a shop and then take you home again... perfect! He was also more than happy to take us out into Alanya town in the evening and pick us up at 4:00 - 5:00 in the morning if that's your sort of thing! All in all a fantastic holiday and will definitely be going back to the apartment again. Response: Thanks so much for your review guys. You've confirmed what we think is one of the key things about our apartment, that it is well placed for relaxing days and hectic nights! “Fantastic apartment with superb views” The apartment set just outside the town ot Alanya has fantastic views both day and night. The area is very quite with a few small shops selling the basics a few minutes away. The apartment itself is perfect. Great sitting area, good bedrooms and kitchen and a balcony looking over the pool and with the super views. The apartment has 2 bathrooms. All very clean and tidy. The caretaker is very heplful and offered a cheaper taxi service than you would pay downtown. Just need to organise times with him for pick ups (car hire is an option) I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a quiet holiday with the option of taking a taxi into the town for a bit night life Response: Thank you so much for your review.
