Pearl of the North 4
Apartment | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 5
Bright, spacious apartment with a private hot tub, terrace, BBQ and garden. Offers views over Eyjafjördur (sea view) and a large living/dining room. Sleeps up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms.
If you walk out of the house and around the corner you wil enter the botanic garden - which is a uniquie example of its kind on this latitude. To the other side it is just a 3 minute walk down to the beautiful Old Town with its cafés and wooden buildings. On route there is a perfect playground for children, just 250 metres from the house.
Since we are also a travel agency we have of course a lot of expertise which we share with out customers. And of course our tours are of excellence whether you choose going dog sledding with us in the winter or on a highland tour in the summer.
A warm welcome!

The North-East Iceland region
Akureyri - is the Pearl of the North - it is probably the only place in Iceland where you can spend your holiday in peace, silence and pristine nature whilst having the comfort of a small town with its outstanding cultural life, with all the sports on offer and the charming café houses and restaurants.
Akureyri is worth a visit all year round - whether you spend your holiday under the midnightsun or the polar lights - you can be sure that it will be an experience of a life time. And even though we are at the fringe of the Arctic, it almost never gets seriously could, having an average temperature of minus 2°C (28 F) in the winter.
You can walk straight up to Sulur, the mountain above Akureyri, you can hire horses for daily tours or a midnight sun ride, you can hire kayaks or join professional diving, hire a bicycle, play golf on the northern most 18 whole golf ground, go on a angling trip, have a walk along the fjord and in winter ski or do cross-country skiing in the best ski resort in Iceland with view of the fjord, amazing! Akureyri has a lot of charm with its old town and in the many cafés you make a break and enjoy Icelandic cake. If you are keen on art, Akureyri offers you different galleries and there are lots of professional music concerts - as well all summer long - a music festival. Moreover, it is only a short ride to the waterfall Godafoss & the volcanic area of Myvatn and many more places of interests. We are happy to advice you on hidden beauties of the North.
