About the home

Athena is a luxurious new villa (completed June 2009), designed to offer stylish accommodation in a stunning location. The villa has an open plan design of kitchen-living room-dining room, with large glass doors and windows that allow plenty of light and give a feeling of space and freedom. There is a master bedroom on the first floor with en-suite bathroom with enclosed shower, TV and DVD, veranda and excellent views.

On the ground slightly elevated floor, there is a WC, spacious well equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with views and access to the large swimming pool.

On the lower floor there are three more bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom and shower enclosure, and storage room with washing machine and dryer. All verandas are furnished with outdoor sofas and armchairs, tables, an outdoor dining area and sunbeds around the swimming pool.

Attention to detail has been given in this villa, regarding furnishings and decoration. Luxury fluffy towels and pool towels, bathrobes and slippers, tennis rackets for the private tennis court are provided.

Welcome basket with fruit,wine and water is included. Garden and pool maintenance is included (once a week)

The Akrotiri, Crete / Tersanas area

Akrotiri peninsula is located at the North West part of Crete, forming almost another small island itself. It is dotted with several small villages, five excellent sandy beaches, seaside seafood tavernas and two of the oldest and most beautiful monasteries of the island.

Tersanas, the nearest village to Athena villas, has a small sandy beach and a couple of tavernas offering excellent food, whereas Chorafakia, 2 kilometres from here, several tavernas and shops offer even more choice. Tersanas is excellent for swimming,snorkelling,fishing and a horse riding centre is located nearby. The area offers piece and serenity and wonderful views towards Hania and the sea, including breathtaking sunsets!

Our nearest airport is Chania (CHQ), 20 minutes from the villas.
Also, Heraklion airport, 1 3/4 hrs drive.
Nearest harbour is Souda.
