It has fantastic views of the sea and also the surrounding countryside of fir trees and olive trees. It has a small heated private pool within its own garden and nearby their is an enormous swimming pool overlooked by a poolside bar. Other facilities are available on site. This rental Villa is perfect for your family holiday - and of course, Akbuk is famous for its clean beaches and clean air, making this a truly healthy holiday!
The villa is located in a complex near the main traffic-free road which leads to the beach, marina, harbour and main town centre. From your own private roof terrace there are stunning views of the Aegean and to the rear picturesque views of the pine clad mountains, in front and to one side there are olive groves. Relax and enjoy the peace, tranquillity and privacy of a detached property.

The Aegean Coast region
Very close to the coast and beaches but it is more known for the views and mountain walks and its very high oxygen levels. They say that the medical experts send people to this area for these reasons. Akbuk was a small fishing village and is very popular with locals. Lots of restaurants close by and several large stores to buy all your goods. Fresh bread every day and clean water can be delivered.

The resort of Olive Village is approx 1.5Km from the beach and is set amongst protected pine forests and olive trees. The town of Akbuk is set in this spectacular white bay with its small marina, its many smaller bays and coves, beautiful unspoilt clean beaches is, as yet, untouched by mass tourism. The sea at Akbuk is a constantly changing colour from the most spectacular aqua for which Turkey is renowned to a beautiful deep blue.
It is also close to many historical Greek and Roman cities such as Ephesus and the ancient cities of Didyma, Miletos and Prienne.
Although Akbuk has only recently been discovered as a holiday resort it still retains the appeal and identity of the Turkish culture and way of life. The village centre is approx. 1.5 kilometres away and has its own picturesque harbour offering boat trips throughout the Summer months. This property is excellent for couples or young families who enjoy a peaceful and romantic location in an almost traffic free area.The Turkish Lira exchange rate is similar to last year so representing better value for money when compared to 'euro' countries.

How to get there
Bodrum and Izmir (Adnan Menderes) are the 2 closest airports. Bodrum is the closest airport 45 minutes drive, with flights only during around April-October but this may be extended in 2009. Izmir airport 1 hr 30 mins to the villa has flights from the UK throughout the year.

Flights leave from Cardiff, Manchester, Gatwick, Newcastle and Dublin. All year round flights are also available through Turkish Airlines that hub into Istanbul (www.thy.com) with regular daily domestic flights onto Bodrum and Izmir.
