The property is also on the bus route to lively Altinkum, a popular holiday resort approximately 15 minutes from Akbuk. Altinkum boasts stunning beaches and many shopping opportunities. The main seafront promenade offers countless bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
The property is ideally situated to suit those wanting a holiday that comprises sun, sea and sand with exploring this popular Turkish region. Apollo Temple ,Bafa lake, Ephesus and Bodrum are only a few of the areas attractions.

The Aegean Coast region
The Aegean Coast is rich in natural beauty, history and culture. It is renowned for its beautiful scenery of mountains and turquoise sea. The region boasts many ancient and biblical sites such as the Apollo temple in Altinkum, Bafa Lake, Ephesus, Pamukale and the Virgin Mary House.
The holiday resorts of Altinkum, Bodrum and Kusadasi are all well worth visiting. For the more adventurous among you, you may want to visit the Aqua Parks in Altinkum and Kusadasi. Turkish baths and scuba diving are all available locally in Altinkum.
Akbuk area
Akbuk, origionally a small fishing village is very much an undiscovered gem on the Aegean coastline between the well known resorts of Bodrum and Kusadasi, it is primarily a resort frequented by local Turkish tourists and holidaymakers. However, being only a 15 minute drive from the popular resort of Altinkum-Didim, has led to many British tourists discovering Akbuk.
Akbuk is very peaceful and offers beautiful scenery within an idylic, secluded bay surrounded by green mountains with large areas of protected pine tree forests. The entire bay's seafront is lined with trees and offers a place to come and relax and enjoy the real Turkey.
Also the centre of Akbuk, offers a number of bars and restaurants to suit every taste.
Every Friday, all year round, there is a large local market in the centre of Akbuk where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, clothes, jewellery and a wide variety of spices. Since Akbuk is a small fishing harbour, you can also buy fresh fish from the local fishermen.
How to get there
Akbuk is located between Izmir airport to the north and Bodrum airport to the south. Transfer time from Izmir Adnan Menderes airport is 1hour 30mins. BA has direct flights from London/Gatwick, other carriers also fly direct from UK and Irish airports.
Bodrum's Milas airport is nearer (approx 70Km) and transfer time is just over the hour. There are frequent charter flights to this airport from most U.K and Irish airports. There is a good road from the airport with a stunning 60 minute drive into Akbuk village over the mountains and past Bafa lake.
Car hire is relatively cheap or alternatively we can arrange a transfer from the airport to the complex and return.

Further details indoors: This 2 storey apartment benefits from 4 air-conditioning units, 1 in the living area and 1 in each of the 3 bedrooms. With a covered balcony to the front overlooking the pools and a further 2 balconies, 1 to the front and 1 to the rear of the property, you will be able to make the most of the weather from dawn to dusk.
Further details outdoors: Small, well maintained complex with 24 hour security. Secure parking at the entrance of complex. Vehicles are not permitted in the communal areas to ensure child safety. View from balconies allows parents to monitor their children in all areas of the site.
This is a very safe complex for children, no cars in public areas, parents can observe their children from the balconies while they are playing in the pool areas.
Sea fishing is only 800 yards away from a pier.

Conditions
Rental rates are inclusive of all electricity, gas, water and laundry and cleaning at the end of your stay.
A £200.00 non refundable deposit is payable to confirm your booking, This deposit will be retained as security to cover for any breakages, damages, extra cleaning etc. This will be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure from the property subject to any deductions necessary to cover any breakages, damages or extra cleaning.
Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to start of rental (except by prior arrangement).
Smoking is only permitted on the balconies.
