About the home

Yasmin Gardens is a quality complex across the road from the beach. It is in an ideal location for a family holiday in the fishing village of Akbuk. The complex has excellent facilites, inc. a large pool which is ideal for adults and children.

The duplex is on 2 floors and sleeps up to 6 people. It benefits from 2 large balconies, lounge/dining room, separate kitchen with hob and oven, 3 bedrooms (1 en-suite),2 bathrooms. There is air conditioning throughout and all windows have mosquito nets.

The accommadation downstairs has a separate kitchen with hob and oven with balcony, lounge/dining room, balcony and built in BBQ, twin bedded room and bathroom with washing machine. A marble staircase leads to the first floor with a shower room with large cubicle shower.
2 large bedrooms, one double with en-suite to the shower room and one twin bedded room. All rooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets on all windows and patio doors. The separate kitchen with the large east facing balcony, is ideal for enjoying the morning sun while having breakfast.

Enjoy the large west facing balcony at the front with its own BBQ, ideal for sunny afternoons and evenings dining 'al fresco' while soaking in the wonderful views over the bay and watching spectacular sun sets. The apartment is furnished to a high quality and luxury furnishings.

The Aegean Coast region

The Aegean Coast is renown for it's beautiful turquoise sea, fresh & clean air and lovely hot summers, of around 28-35 degrees.
It is rich in natural beauty, history and culture, offering stunning mountain and sea views. The area also boasts numerous ancient historical sites such as the Ancient City of Ephesus, the Thermal Springs at Pamukkale, Bafa Lake (a natural beauty) and the Apollo Theatre in Didim itself.

The Akbuk area

Akbuk is set in bay of crystal clear sea, so it is an ideal resort for holidaymakers that want a relaxing laid back holiday, but within easy reach of livlier Altinkum. Orignally a small fishing village it is surrounded by mountain and forest scenery and dotted with olive groves. It has local shops, a supermarket, banks and many restaurants offering excellent food that is alot less expensive than the bigger resort of Altinkum.
It is a great place for children, offering play parks along the prom and gentle sloping beaches for safe bathing.
There is a lovely promenade lined with trees and dotted with bars and restaurants which offer Turkish or European cusine. You can purchase fresh fish daily from the harbour or take a boat trip with lunch included on board. We can recommend Calypso boat trips.
Akbuk has a market once a week, which is well worth a visit to pick up some bargains.

For those wanting to sample a livlier nightlife, Altinkum is only 20/30 mins away by car, taxi or the Dolmus bus service which stops right outside and is very cheap.
In Altinkum, there are several tour operators, offering boat trips, trips to Ephesus, the Water Park and many other trips of interest. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants to suit every taste.

“Fantastic and memorable holiday location with stunning views” We visited the Yasmin Gardens complex in July 2012 and we were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our holiday. We were a little nervous booking online as we usually stay in hotels but these concerns were eliminated the minute that we arrived. The booking process was extremely easy and very smooth from paying the deposit and balance to receiving the keys 10 days before departure (as promised). The pictures of this complex and the apartment are so accurate, it is a warm and friendly atmosphere with the most beautiful and clean swimming pool, a small shop and a great pool side bar. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very clean and spacious and felt like a home from home. We traveled with 4 children and the close proximity of the swimming pool was a massive bonus. Car rental is very reasonably priced locally and worth hiring a vehicle for a few days to explore some of the beautiful beaches in the area. The locals were also very welcoming and all of the restaurants and bars are very child friendly. We had a wonderful time; thank you Pete and Helen for giving us the opportunity to spend it in your beautiful home.

“Great view !” Just had a 2 week stay in this lovely apartment.We had a quick look at Yasmin Gardens the previous year and fell in love with it.The 4 pools were ample for the amount of people staying there, thier were occasions when my family were the only ones around the pools.The apartment was spacious, clean and well kitted out but best of all the balcony.A lovely view day and night over the pools and bay, we had breakfast in the morning and wine of an evening, lovely to just sit and enjoy.A mention also to some of the other people who stay there who were extremly helpful and friendly, the same can be said for the people who work on the complex. Akbuk has some great restaurants, one complaint about the Akvarium restaurant was the man who runs it told us he would give us a lift home after our meal but then informed us that his car was broken after we had paid for our meal, most helpful as it was late and I have 2 small children !.Not happy.All other restaurants were fine, special mention for Ossucan restaurant, although this is a 20 min drive to Bozbuk bay it was worth it, Ossie who runs it is charming and a great cook and you sit next to the sea while eating. All in all a great holiday,very relaxing even with my 2 children.
