About the home

This apartment has 2 bedrooms, a Double and a Twin, in both rooms there are bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. In both bedrooms there is an air con unit, the bathroom has a bath with a fitted shower over the bath.

The kitchen is small but fully fitted; Washing Machine, Cooker & Hob, Fridge/Freezer and Dishwasher. The Kitchen / Diner and Lounge are open plan, there is a dining area with a table and 6 chairs, in the lounge there is an air con unit, the sofa also folds into a bed, 2 arm chairs, coffee table, TV stand, TV & full satellite package.

All 5 pools also have a small paddling pool for the little ones. The Spa area has an indoor heated swimming pool with sauna and massage facilities and a fully equipped gym.

The reception centre also includes a restaurant with a bar, lounge and a fully stocked supermarket. There is nightly entertainment in season and activities are organised for the children by Team Marina staff. There is also a fully equipped playground, water slide and splash pool. If you still have the energy, you can play Tennis or Crazy Golf. (Small extra charge involved). Or for something a little more relaxing a game of chess.

The gardens have private access down to the sandy beach and are fully equipped with sunbeds and large loungers with parasols where you can relax and order drinks.

The Aegean Coast region

The Aegean coast has long hot and dry summers and mild winters. In summer temperatures can reach into the 40s and with the cooling sea breezes offers the perfect holiday climate for those looking for sun, sea and sand! There are many places of interest in the region to suit every taste - historical sites galore, the most famous of which is the ancient city Ephesus,dating back almost 8000 years and under excavation for the last 110, the city is the size of Manchester and remarkably intact.

Beautiful Bafa Lake, a bird watchers paradise with many nesting sites for rare species, the mud baths of Dalyan, Turtle Beach, Pammukale, quaint winemaking villages and a host of other sights to see all within easy reach of Akbuk and Bozbuk.

For retail therapy there is the cosmopolitan town of Bodrum with numerous shopping centres and arcades as well as an ancient castle and a large marina. Kusadassi is just one hour away and boasts one of the largest marinas in the region with luxury cruise liners mooring regularly as well as a host of luxury shops, and a weekly market.

The bustling resort of Altinkum is just 30 minutes away from Bozbuk and offers a varied mix of cafes bars and nightlife as well as a good choice of shops and a market. A local ferry service runs between Apollonium and Altinkum during the Summer season.

The Akbuk / Bozbuk area

Boat trips can be taken from the complex pier, that cruise around the bays and beaches of Akbuk bay and over to Altinkum,where guests can jump off and enjoy the excellent snorkelling in the crystal clear water. Jeep safaris are also very popular allowing everyone to get off the beaten track and go through the forests and mountains to see landscapes not normally seen.

The local village of Akbuk is 15 mins. away by car from the complex and has extensive sandy beaches, excellent restaurants, and boat trips. There is an excellent local market there every Friday where you can buy freshly caught fish, vegetables, spices and clothing. A further 20 mins. from Akbuk following the coast road leads you to Altinkum.

Altinkum and its attached sister Didim is a large resort with excellent beaches plus a wide range of shops, hotels, clubs and restaurants. All can be reached via local Dolmus (bus) or by water taxi from the Apollonium Spa complex.

Bodrum is 1 hour via the scenic route or 1hr 30mins via the main road to the complex.
Izmir is 2 hour via the motorway and main roads. Izmir has flights all year round.
