About the home

A modern spacious 3 bedroom semi-detached villa in a great location with 3 good size bedrooms, a family bathroom upstairs and a downstairs WC, There is an open plan diner/lounge, the kitchen has a gas hob with electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and a water cooler/heater.

There is a large roof terrace with patio furniture to relax in the sunshine and look out at the beautiful sea and mountain views. 2 bedroom balconies and a wrap round terrace on the ground floor with quality garden furniture.

This villa is in a great location as is only a 5 minute walk (approx) to the town and beach so is near all the shops, bars and restaurants.

The facilities onsite include a shared pool, restaurant and bar.

All bed linen and towels are provided for indoor use, please note there are no beach towels, therefore you will have to bring your own. Please do not take the towels from the apartment for use by the pool or on the beach.

The Aegean Coast region

The Aegean coast has long hot and dry summers and mild winters. In summer temperatures can reach into the 40s and with the cooling sea breezes offers the perfect holiday climate for those looking for sun, sea and sand!

There are many places of interest in the region to suit every taste - historical sites galore, the most famous of which is the ancient city Ephesus,dating back almost 8000 years and under excavation for the last 110, the city is the size of Manchester and remarkably intact.

Beautiful Bafa Lake, a bird watchers paradise with many nesting sites for rare species, the mud baths of Dalyan, Turtle Beach, Pammukale, quaint winemaking villages and a host of other sights to see all within easy reach of Akbuk.

For retail therapy there is the cosmopolitan town of Bodrum with numerous shopping centres and arcades as well as an ancient castle and a large marina. Kusadassi is just one hour away and boasts one of the largest marinas in the region with luxury cruise liners mooring regularly as well as a host of luxury shops, and a weekly market.

The bustling resort of Altinkum is just 20 minutes away from Akbuk and offers a varied mix of cafes bars and nightlife as well as a good choice of shops and a market.

The Akbuk area

Akbuk is a self contained relaxed and tranquil resort on the western Aegean coast 20 minutes from the popular resort of Altinkum. Set on a small bay with stunning blue and calm waters and backed by lush mountains Akbuk is the perfect location for a relaxed holiday. For the more active there are several activities available, horse riding, watersports, fishing trips, walking and bike riding.

There are several restaurants, bars and cafes stretching along the seafront promenade, perfect for a quiet drink watching the sunset over the Aegean and for the more lively there are one or two nightclubs and hotels with cabaret or theme nights. The resort has several shops supermarkets, ATM machines and tour agencies and there is a regular bus service to surrounding areas.

There is a weekly market offering a huge choice of goods, locally grown produce, gifts and souvenirs, leather goods, clothing and linens, ceramics and local crafts to name a few.

Bodrum and Izmir (Adnan Menderes) are the nearest airports
Bodrum is 1 hour via the scenic route or 1hr 30mins via the main road to the complex. Flights to Bodrum are from April to October.
Izmir is 2 hour via the motorway and main roads. Izmir has flights all year round.
