Beautiful penthouse apartment set in an idyllic complex on the Aegean Coast in Akbuk, Turkey. Nestled in the hills surrounded by fresh pine tree forest beside a quiet and luxurious golden beach within a fishing village, the complex has its own pool, games room, free Wi-Fi, book club and pleasant gardens. The beach is walkable from the complex (although a drive is recommended).

Who is this holiday for? In our opinion, singles, couples and even families who want to benefit from a refreshingly quiet, 'off the beaten track' sun kissed experience. Akbuk is not typical of the Turkish packaged holiday experience. However, if hustle and bustle is your thing, then nearby Altinkum is less than 30 minutes away and Bodrum is just under 1 hour away and very accessible from the Apartment. To get the most out of your stay, hiring a car is advisable to maximise your holiday experience.

Once you book our fully air conditioned, self catering apartment with sea views, our local agent will take over at no additional cost and work with you to create the ideal holiday experience including, preparing the apartment for your arrival, meeting you onsite once you get there to get you settled no matter what time you arrive. For an additional cost they will even help you with car hire, cot, pram, even baby chair hire and be a source of inspiration for excursions and local information. For your peace of mind, the complex is manned by security guards 24/7.

Welcome Packs upon your arrival can be arranged on booking for a small additional cost.

Nearby attractions include:
Akbuk - the long quite beach, the truly Turkish traditional village, the local market is held once a week. Plenty of local traditional Turkish restaurants, many providing free lifts to and from the resort to customers!

Altinkum - popular touristy seaside, with 3 large beaches, lots of restaurants, nightlife, shopping and attractions including a waterpark, outdoor karting

Bodrum - similar to Altinkum but on a slightly larger scale is just under an hours drive away

The Temple of Apollo is under 30 minutes drive and the ancient Roman city of Ephesus is under an hours drive away.

Lake Bafa National Park is just under an hour to the North of Akbuk

Vita Park is the nearest Golf Course and is located in Bodrum.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Hasim (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
