Completely renovated, luxuriously furnished and full of light apartment, air conditioned, 40m² living room with breath taking view on one of the most beautiful squares of Aix en Provence, 3 lovely double bedrooms one of them with view onto the square, 1 small single bedroom, 2 bathrooms one of them with an Italian spacious shower, self contained modern kitchen with all facilities.
Facilities: Dishwasher, Washing machine, Refrigerator, Freezer, TV, DVD player, CD player, Internet, telephone etc.
On the ground floor of the apartment there are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a shower and two wash basins and a separate toilet next door. The other bathroom has a toilet, wash basin and a bath (with showerhead). On the second floor of the apartment there is a double bedroom and a single bedroom which has a wash basin and shower in the room.
NB: The two storey apartment is actually up on the second floor of the building, please note that there is no elevator, stairs only.
Located in the heart of the Aix en Provence's historical centre (no direct access by car, by taxi only), this lovely furnished apartment is surrounded by magnificent buildings, squares, restaurants, museums and boutiques. All sort of festivals take place in Aix en Provence during the summer as the worldwide known Music Festival.

Discover picturesque provençal villages, lovely countryside where well known artists as Cezanne and Picasso whose castle in Vauvenargues can be visited. 20 minutes from the famous Sainet Victoire and 30 minutes from Marseilles. Day trip to Cassis and Bandol, visit "Les Calanques", lovely fishing harbours and beaches only 45 minutes from our location.
The Aix En Provence area
Museums, historic buildings, high standard shops, gourmet restaurants and bars, Aix en Provence is a cultural and beautiful city.
Le Cours Mirabeau created in 1649 is the main avenue of Aix which connects the Mazarin area in the south to the old commercial city in the north. La Rotonde builded in 1860 with 3 statues represents the justice looking towards Aix, agriculture towards Marseille and the the fine arts towards Avignon. The Roi René fountain which shows him with raisins on his hand since he brought the muscat wine to Provence among others.

Even better than the great photos--a lot of love went into this place. We used as home base for Provence daytrips--perfect! Modern parking lot is 10 min walk but we rolled our luggage easily.... more |
