La Bastide des roses is situated close to Aix en Provence but the peaceful location gives the impression you are in the countryside with just the singing of the ciccadas to keep you company.
La Bastide des roses is ideally located for visiting Provence. The Mediterranean coast and the picturesque town of Cassis with its beaches, fishing port and shimmering turquoise water is just fifty minutes drive away. Inland you can explore the vineyards, lavendar fields and the famous hill top villages of the Luberon to the north and the Var region to the east. If you continue eastwards, you will reach the chic resorts of St Tropez, Cannes, Nice etc along the Cote d'Azur. Alternatively you can discover the Roman history of the region at Arles, Nimes and Orange.
After a days hectic sightseeing, what better way to relax than by your own private pool in the shade of two lime trees with a glass of local rosé wine and a guide book planning your adventures and discoveries for the following day.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone region
In the light that Cézanne loved so much; this country house overlooks Aix en Provence and Sainte Victoire mountain.
At the cross roads of the Via Domitia of Antiquity, the Route du Mistral, around its refreshing fountains, its secret gardens and their traditions, Aix en Provence cultivates its gentle hospitality and its dazzling smile, with love!
Discover Provence through:
- The irresistible charm of the ‘sentinels of time’ villages: Bonnieux, Lacoste, Ménerbes,...
- The Luberon Regional Nature Park and Pays de Sault where lavender and lavandin are cultivated and distilled.
- The heart of the Alpilles mountain range, cultural centre of Provence, in Saint-Rémy de Provence were Van Gogh was hospitalized and where Nostradamus was born, in the exceptional village Les Baux through the spectacular Val d'Enfer.
- A deeply dug by the magnificent Gorges of the Verdon River. On to the Verdon Grand Canyon along Corniche Sublime, a grandiose setting and impressive ravines.
- The Regional Park of Camargue with its wide spaces, bulls, horses, flamingoes,...
Aix En Provence / Celony - Les Figons area
Town of water, town of art... Everyone knows that Aix was built and has developed around this dual identity. But the town also knows how to blend different areas and culture. Open to the world, it is a city of human dimension where the preserved heritage and the city of tomorrow blend perfectly. Here, all is colour and sensation: the light of the sky, the golden stone of the facades, the transparent green of the fountains, the shade of the plane trees, surprises held by the festival nights...
