Fantastic Property With Heated Pool. Idyllic location at the foot of the Luberon Mountain Sleeps 12 (6 Bedrooms).

A restored and extremely comfortable provencal Mas set in the heart of the beautiful Luberon National Park. Mas de la Boissiere offers the best of modern amenities combined with old provencal charm. Furnished to a very high standard the house is perfect for families or groups of friends alike. Set in the middle of it's own parkland with a heated pool. It is 3 mins from the village of Cucuron and 45 mins from the airport or TGV.

I have never stayed in a more beautiful home, nor have I ever had people take care of me and my friends so well. The pictures on your website don't do the place justice! None of us understood the true size of the pool outdoor dining or lounge areas, and certainly no-one understood how grand some of the bedroom suites were. The place is truly a dream. I would love to come back sometime soon, or come to one of your other places. Dawson – August 2010.

Suitability:
The house is very child-friendly. The heated pool is completely enclosed and may be monitored from the kitchen and dining room.

There is one bedroom on the ground floor, with a small step into the bathroom.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Bouches-du-Rhone region

Mas de la Boissiere is located 5 minutes away from the village of Cucuron.

Travel

We are 45 mins from Marseille/Marignane Airport serviced by BA, Easyjet, Ryanair. Nimes/Garons airport is 75 mins away and is serviced by Ryanair, Flybe to Avignon 50 minutes away. The TGV stations of Aix and Avignon are both 45 mins drive. Car hire is essential and easily available from either airport or TGV stations.

Distances

Cucuron village is 3 mins drive or a leisurely 25 min walk. The tourist centres of Aix en Provence is 35 mins drive and Avignon 50 mins drive, offer a wealth of options for all tastes (literally!). The house is in the Luberon National Park which is one of the most beautiful areas of France.

The Aix En Provence area

The local villages of Cucuron and Cabrieres d'Aigues offer Boulangeries etc and a choice of Bars and restaurants. There is a good Spar general store and the local wine cooperatives. There is a bank with ATM in Cucuron, a Post Office. Doctors and pharmacy are also in Cucuron. All types of shopping can be done in Pertuis (20mins drive). There is an Equestrian centre within 10 mins walk, cycle hire can be arranged.

Coast/Beach

The nearest sandy beach is a one hour drive from the house and has extensive facilities. It's great for kids. There is also a lake nearby with beach area. Cassis is only an hour away too.

Golf

There are two golf courses within a 30 min drive of the house. The Seve Ballesteros course at Pont Royal and Golf du Luberon, plus many others within an hour's drive.

Skiing

We are 90 mins from the resort of Les Orres which offers excellent winter sports facilities. A day trip to the pistes is easily do-able.
