Welcome in the "House of Ferns"

The traditional family house, “House of Ferns“ lies in Agulo, in the north of the Canary Island of Gomera.

The name takes its origin from the patio which is traditional in the old cultural houses and is, as a matter of fact surrounded by ferns.

A wonderful oasis of tranquility and relaxation.

In the 4 various individual Studios and one Apartment (incl. kitchen and shower room) which have been renovated in the traditional style, you can enjoy a little escapism from the touristic hussle bussle.

Our Studio 1 have 22 qm, max. 2 Pax

With lots of sunlight a direct seaview and a sparkly clean atmosphere as the studio has just been refurbished. Studio includes wardrobe, dining table with 2 chairs on-suite shower/WC and fully equipped kitchenette including fridge/freezer, coffee machine and complete kitchen utensils. The studio entrance is directly adjacent to the ferned patio area.

Exterior: Ferned patio area, communal sun-roof with direct seaview.

Extras: WLAN access gratis on the patio, blankets, beach-towels, fan heaters, halogen heaters.

The tranqiulity, the ambiente and the excellent service, guarantee a perfect base for your holiday activities. From the roof terrace (with sun-loungers) and some appartments there are overwhelming views of the sea and the neighbouring island of Tenerife with the highest mountain in Spain, “Teide”.

The village of Agulo with its unusual location on the cliffs of the sea is known as ´The Pearl of Gomera`.

It provides a perfect basecamp for hiking and excursions. Many of the most beautiful hiking routes begin either from Agulo or the neighbouring village of Hermigua.

The national Park Garajonay is a 30-minute drive away.
