Home description

This beautiful large airconditioned villa across a cul de sac road from the beach. It is the ultimate family holiday home. Kids love it. It has 2 large verandas, a huge pool and a toddlers pool. It has a large manicured lawned garden with a boules court and bbq. It has a large salon and kitchen with all mod cons.it has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms upstairs.In the vast basement there is a table tennis and a fuzball table.....tv and dvd in salon.

There are 6 small beaches within 5 minutes drive some deserted.The local village of Calabardina uncommercialised but still has 7 small restaurants. Aguilas town 5 minutes away is full of traditional restaurants. The market on Saturday morning is enormous. This part of Spain is one of the last undeveloped tourist destinations .

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The climate is similar to the Costa del Sol so suitable all year round. It enjoys constant sunshine with daytime temperatures seldom below 18 celcius in winter.Spring and Autumn enjoy daytime temps in the mid twenties and hot in summer . You can golf in Almanzora the only desert golf course in europe which is 40 mins away.There is a water park in Garrucha 50 mins away. All the towns and villages are untouched by foreign tourism unlike the costa del sol so you can absorb authentic Spain .

Aguilas / Calabardinda area

Aguilas is famous for its festivals too numerous to mention,its mardi gras in mid February is one of the best in spain.the main attraction of Aguilas is the busy ,non touristy athmosphere simply spanish with lots of local activity ,shops,tapas bars,restaurants,markets in short normal life in spain.If you're looking for a contrived holiday destination this is not the place for you.

How to get there

You can fly into Alicante 90 mins away, San Javier aka Murcia 90 mins away or Almeria 60 mins away Aer Lingus, Ryan Air, Easy Jet among others fly there..from Alicanti you take the motorway to Murcia then Lorca then Aguilas then Calabardina. From Almeria you go to Lorca, Aguilas. I use holidayautos.co.uk or carjet .com
