The Campania region
The Cliento Coast, the southern part of Campania, is the most beautiful. There are archeological wonders such as Pompeii, the Isle of Capri and the Amalfi Coast. People come for the Coves of Pertosa and Castelcivita, Certosa di Padula, Palinuro, Velia and the National Park of the Cilento.
The crystal clear water and the blue flag given to Agropoli, capital city of this area, speak for its water quality. The sandy beaches of Trentova Bay and Palinuro are very similar to those of the Carribean.
There are train connections to Naples, Slaerno and the Amalfi Coast. You can take the hydrofoil to Capri and Ischia Every day you have the possibilty of perfect working train connections to Naples, Salerno and the Amalfian Coast enables to visit this places without a car.
Bargain restaurants can be found alongside high class seafood places, you can taste original Mozzarella cheese from the Vannulo company, try the red wine of the Cilento area or theie top quality olives. There are a good selection of shops, a convenient supermarket and a good nightlife for all ages.
Agropoli area
Agropoli was founded by the Greeks, and inhabited by Romans and Byzantines, giving it a rich heritage. The name Acropolis comes from the Greek: “acro and polis / high and town“. The town's history has always been colouful, and today Agropoli is the main gate to the Cilento Coast and its National Park, a World Heritage Site under UNESCO control. The town has about 25 thousand inhabitants, lovely beaches and lots of sites of historical interest. Distance to Amalfi 55 Km, to Salerno 50 km, to Pompeii 60 km and to Naples Airport 110 km.
How to get there
The nearest Airport is Naples: Easyjet, bmi, BA and Ryan Air fly into Naples Rome Airport is also an option. Car hire is available in both airports and can be done from £160 per week,. We can organize a pick up service in Naples Airport for £135 one way and £250 from Rome. However it is more convenient to hire a car.

The apartment runs on an independent combi-bolier to ensure warm water and heating whenever you want it. We absolutely don't use a 30 Litre electric warm water tank.
Further details outdoors: Guarded Parking Space within the Villa grounds. There are plenty of sunchairs on the terraces and use of the BBQ in the garden.

High season bookings ( July-August )are only from Sat. to Sat. Preferred arrival time in high season is 16:00 and the apartment should be vacated for 10:00 when you leave. The rest of the year we can be more flexible, with everything from a 3 day break acceptable, We want to fit in with your plans, so if you're on a low price flight we can pick you up at any hour of the day or night.
Conditions
We charge a 350 breakage deposit, which you can pay by cash or bank transfer. We refund the breakage deoposit at the end of your vacation.
Extra Costs: A weekly booking fee of £16. If you require internet access, the use of the internet is £7 per day. Final Cleaning costs £35, Extra cleaning can be arranged during your stay, please ask.

A truly remarkable find on the internet, a lovely location for a relaxing holiday. Our first trip to Italy as a family has been a memorable one for many reasons. Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast are a must for any visitor to this part of the world.
Our first impressions of Agropoli on arrival were mixed, but once night falls the town comes alive and a walk around the harbour and the old town shouldn´t be missed. The apartment was comfortable and the view from the balcony second to none.
To sum up - Highly recommeded as a place for anyone wishing to visit this part of Italy.

What a fabulous place ! Just as described on the website. The views of the apartment are truly amazing and the apartment is spacious and extremly comfortable. Despite the summer heat, sleeping was comfortable thanks to the mosquito nets on windows. We had a marvelous holiday here with two teenage daughters, the area has everything the Amalfi Coast has except the expense and the tourists ! We definetly want to come back to explore further. Raffaele has been marvelous ! His insider knowledge, tips and advice make such a difference. He made us feel so welcome even to the extent of printing out directions to a restaurant in Capaccio.

The penthouse apartment Maisonette is very well equipped and has superb views over Agropoli an over the entire coast round to the Amalfi Coast and Capri. We had no trouble at all booking the apartment on-line. Raffaele is extremly helpful and speaks very good english. He made us feel exceedingly welcome and answered all our questions, no matter how trivial. There was no problem at all about him meeting us at Agropoli Nord on our arrival. We phoned him and he duly arrived within minutes to guide us to the apartment.

Hi, We have never been to Italy before and this will be a holiday that will stay with us for a long time. Raffaele was excellent and unbelievably helpful. What a great base for the makings of a great holiday. Wonderful penthouse suite, wonderful friendly people, roll on next year.

The apartment is spacious, light airy, well equipped & spottlessly clean. Lovely sea views from balcony and over to the old town (well worth exploring! ). The local area and region are beautiful and two weeks last not long enough to see everything ! Paestum is a must and snorkeling at Palinuro is brilliant. The local boat service to towns along the coast and to Capri is excellent and good value. The Mini-Bus makes these trips easy. Take a small boat from Palinuro Harbour to see the local grottos. The Explorer Boat Trip also brilliant. Trips to Capri, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius are unmissable but Capri VERY expensiv. Plenty of places to eat in Agropoli.
As for Raffaele the owner and his Crew- well, they could have not done more to make our holiday memorable. Nothing was too much trouble and Raffaele´s fluent english made things easy.
A really great holiday - we will be back !!!!!
