The house is comprised of three independent apartments. The main apartment (A) is located on the ground floor and comprises a living room with dining area, a double bedroom, a twin-bedded room – both with air conditioning – a comfortable bathroom with shower and a kitchen. The second apartment (B) has an independent entrance and is comprised of a small living room, a delightful traditional kitchen, two double bedrooms, a twin-bedded room and a bathroom with shower. Outside at the back of the house there’s a fascinating inner courtyard with chairs, table, shower and barbecue. At the front of the property there is a large area which looks onto the surrounding hills and the swimming pool (6 x 12 metres), complete with gazebo and a lovely wrought-iron shower. The house is well appointed, simply but tastefully furnished and constructed completely in stone with thick walls which make the rooms pleasantly cool. The third apartment, located on the first floor and with an independent entrance, is not normally rented out but is sometimes inhabited by the owners (particularly during the weekends), so you may happen to share with them the swimming pool; we feel sure that it will be a precious opportunity to experience the fine hospitality of this wonderful Sicilian family!

The Sicily region
The property is situated 2 km far from Raffadali, where you find shops and supermarkets and where you can taste the delicious almond pastries typical of the area. The village doesn’t offer any particular attraction but the location of the house allows you to visit the famous Valle dei Templi (15 km) and the many beautiful beaches of the area, among the others Siculiana Marina (18 km), the Nature Reserve of Torre Salsa, the Reserve of the river Platani, and the amazing white cliff of Scala dei Turchi. The location is ideal also to visit Piazza Armerina (Villa del Casale) and the south-western part of the island.

There’s a wide parking space in the property. It’s possible to have extra cleaning during the week for 10 euros per hour
