The Ionian Islands region

'Drogarati' Cave & 'Melissani' Cave/Lake (12km away): Visitors to 'Drogarati' can take a walk through the winding corridors where stalactites and stalagmites continue to form.

Roz Villa recommends:

- Explore the fishing village of Fiskardo for its charming narrow streets of Venetian-style houses.

- Follow the dramatic cliff and mountain road to Myrtos Beach, then wind down in the atmospheric little harbour of Assos.

- Take in the spectacular views of other Ionian islands from Mount Enos, Kefalonia's highest mountain, stop for some local wine-tasting at the village of Frangata on the hike down.

- Take a ferry trip to nearby Ithika for the day and explore its many superb beaches.

"Met all of my expectations"

This villa was everything I hoped it would be. The location was close enough to the village so that you could walk to town. The town itself is charming and the people equally so.
Roz Villa had lovely gardens (with rose bushes) and a refreshing pool. The outdoor spaces were wonderful ---and there were many tucked here and there throughout the property.

I highly recommend this villa .
