The Crete region
Elounda Maris Villa is situated along the north coast of central Crete, in the area of Elounda and Agios Nikolaos. Nested against the slopes of the hills of Elounda, it holds a protected position.To the fishing village of Plaka with its white pebble beach it is only a little stroll from where you can take a boat to the islet Spinalonga.
Also the little port of luxurious Elounda is not far away. Here you can find fashionable boutiques and typical Cretan handicraft shops alongside traditional fish taverns and exclusive restaurants. The villas are within easy reach of interesting sight seeing attractions, whereas the cosmopolitan harbour town of Agios Nikolaos is a 20-minute drive away.
Aghios Nikolaos / Elounda area
Plaka / Elounda From Elounda Maris Villa you can enjoy the most beautiful view of Elounda and the peninsula Kolokitha, a great place for bird-watching, with on its tail Spinalonga, the little islet known because of its Venetian fortress and as the base of the former leper colony. It was also Spinalonga that served as inspiration for Victoria Hislop’s best-selling novel "The Island". Elounda itself with its luxurious hotel resorts has become over the years a national hideaway for Greek celebrities to spend some relaxing days. The village Plaka is a convenient starting point for a boat trip to Spinalonga.
Agios Nikolaos Holding a fantastic position on a promontory, with a panoramic view of the Bay of Mirabello and its dramatic, sheer rocky coastline, Agios Nikolaos is a vibrant, cosmopolitan harbour town. It has everything necessary for a feel-good holiday: attractive shops, a pedestrian zone, excellent restaurants and eateries and a lively nightlife where you don’t feel out of place once you’ve hit your thirties.

• Elounda / Crete is well served by air and sea networks that give fast and direct access locally, nationally and from Europe. Further details indoors: The split-level upper floor, where the entrance is, is an open plan with a spacious living area with open fire place, flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings; dining area and fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, mixer plus all necessary kitchen utensils; the terrace doors lead to the furnished upper veranda with magnificent views over the Bay of Elounda and its turquoise blue sea, with the islet Spinalonga strategically placed in its middle.
Three steps lead to the first master bedroom with balcony, a twin-bedroom and a bathroom with toilet.
The ground level is reached by a flight of stairs, where the second master bedroom, the wellness room and a second toilet are. The wellness room and the master bedroom have terrace doors leading to the furnished ground level terrace with private swimming pool and again magnificent views of the surrounding area.

Cancellation policy
In the event of a reservation cancellation:
* 22 or more days prior to the arrival date of the client, the deposit / prepayment is fully refunded (any potential expenses are charged to the client).
* 14 to 21 days prior to the arrival date of the client, 50% of the deposit / prepayment is refunded to the client (any potential expenses are charged to the client).
* 13 or less days prior to the arrival date of the client, the prepayment is not refunded.
