Villa Mavrikiano is the end plot of a small group of 4 Villas with unparalleled views, all of which are enclosed behind secure electric gates.
The upper floor has 2 double air-conditioned bedrooms with sea-view balconies and 2 bathrooms with Jacuzzi style power showers. The ground floor has an open plan living room dining and kitchen areas with patio windows leading to the terraces. The villa has an additional double sofa bed so it can accommodate 6 people comfortably.
The private garden has outside seating terraces, patio sun-bed areas surrounding your own swimming pool. Set at the back of the quiet traditional village of Mavrikiano with its own parking area

The Crete region
Crete, Greece's premier Greek Island and Elounda Just 9 kilometres from Aghios Nikolaos, and approx. hour from Heraklion airport.
Crete is beautiful. Visit the capital city, Iraklion and see the fortress and Venetian walls.
This lovely island is full of history and culture. Great for beaches and sunbathing, walks, bird watching, visiting ancient sites, and the local wines and olive oils.
Aghios Nikolaos / Elounda area
Elounda is like much of Crete, steeped in legend and ancient history. From the villa you can marvel at the Venetian fortress of Spinalonga the most famous island on Crete with its wonderful history. a former leper colony until 1957.
Its worth a short drive, or indeed walk, along the beautiful coastal road leading to Plaka or Agios Nikolaos. Take the short boat ride for a worthwhile tour of Spinalonga.
How to get there
There are several carriers that fly to Heraklion which is the main airport, the Airport is 50 minutes by car to the Villa, if that's not your preferred method then you can also take a Taxi at a cost of €50/€60.
The main carriers are easyjet, FlyThompson, Monarch, Olympic and Thomas Cook all providing competitive rates from most main European departure airports.
Once on the ground then there are a number of car hire options at Heraklion, one of the most competitive and reliable is Budget rentacar.

The linen for instance has been sourced locally and is the finest Egyptian Cotton and it's this level of effort that runs through the entire Villa.
Further details outdoors: You will love swimming at all times in your private pool, enjoy lazy afternoons on the sunny terrace, have breakfast in bed watching sunrise from your bay-window,nap as long as you want in the garden, have a romantic dinner 'al fresco' watching the shimmering lights of Elounda at night. welcome in Crete! A BBQ is provided if you don't feel like going out for the night. Each bedroom has its own private balcony, where you can enjoy the view (superb in the morning, even more breathtaking at sunset), Closets are spacious for your entire summer wardrobe. The 'double bed' bedroom has its own en suite bathroom and there is a second bathroom upstairs near bedroom n°2. Children and babies are of course , more than welcome. Underfloor heating in every room and air conditioning (with remote control). Each bedroom has its own table and chairs set, on the balcony, to enjoy the views.

A local Management company Bluebay has been hired to offer the very best level of service and local knowledge. no effort is required beyond making yourself a cool drink and deciding where to eat at night. Bluebay will take care of things such as Arrival Packs, Keys, Car Hire etc etc. They will contact you via email or phone once your booking is confirmed. We hope you get the chance to enjoy our villa. During your stay iff acceptable a maid service is offered without charge to change towels and bedroom linen to make your stay even more comfortable.
Conditions
Payment is preferred in Sterling or Euros, written confirmation with the applicable 10% deposit of the total accommodation cost is required to secure the booking. The Full payment is then due 8 weeks prior to the start of the rental period, for less than 8 weeks, the total amount is required at time of booking. Cheques are acceptable although Bankers Drafts or Bank Transfers are preferable for speed of confirmation. The villa will be cleaned twice a week and the bedding and towelling will also be changed twice a week. Smoking is not allowed inside the villa. A Damage deposit of £150 is also required with your final payment and is fully refundable. For International clients outside of the UK a £20.00 charge for the return of the Damage deposit will apply to cover bank charges, therefore you should expect to receive £130.00. A meet and greet service at Elounda is provided, to show you to the villa and demonstrate all the facilities within it. This is included in the rental price between the hours of 08.00-20.00hrs local time. Between 20.00-24.00hrs local time - a surcharge of £30.00 is payable. Between 00.00-08.00hrs local time a surcharge of £50.00 is payable. Please advise the owner of your arrival times, so that it can be added to the final payment.
