The 5 Star VILLA MINOS is offered at the same level of service and comfort as the expensive 5 star hotels near by. There is a Meet and Greet service any time day or night, together with a mid week clean, change of all towels and sheets, a starter food pack is also available.
An hour by car from Heraklion airport, a modern recently built villa in the most sought after location, set in an elevated position but close to the beach, with views over the Bay of Elounda and the surrounding Cretan mountains.
Built on two levels, the ground floor has been designed with a well equipped modern kitchen, an open plan living/dining area with comfortable seating, and a satellite TV with English & multi language channels, there are two quality double sofa beds enabling the villa to accommodate up to six people.
The upper floor has 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin), both air-conditioned,with patio doors leading out onto sea-view balconies. Each has its own luxury bathroom with a Hydro power shower.

The Crete region
Peaceful yet set on the outskirts of the quiet traditional village of Mavrikiano the villa has its own car parking area protected by electric gates.
So whatever pace of life you enjoy there's plenty to see and do; the archaeological sites of Lato and Knossos, the traditional handicraft village of Kritsa, the14th century Byzantine church of Panagia Kera, the region's meandering walking paths, boat trips, Blue Flag - (Water Safe) - beaches and water sports and of course sampling the local cuisine.
Maybe visit the abundance of waterside and harbour cafés in Agios or Elounda to while away a few hours by watching the world go by. Or maybe watch DVDs on the 300 channel LCD satellite television which gives you programmes in every European language.
Alternatively just bring a good book and enjoy the quiet and the views when you go out through the patio doors into the garden which has outside terraces and grassed sun-bed areas surrounding your own swimming pool which looks out over the Bay.
Aghios Nikolaos / Elounda area
Also within easy reach, travel a short distance by the coastal road with its amazing scenery to Agios Nikolaos and Plaka, two contrasting towns in opposite directions both worthy of a visit.
Plaka just 6 km away with its charming and hidden shops & restaurants from where you can look directly out to Spinalonga, the most famous isle on Crete and wonder at its remarkable history.

Further details outdoors: Situated on the exclusive Gulf of Mirabello - approximately an hour from Heraklion airport - the Villa is in an elevated position overlooking the Mirabello bay. Set in its own quiet grounds with a 400 metre walk to a choice of Tavernas, supermarket and the blue flag beaches and sea. Whilst on your doorstep are the two best known resorts on Crete. Agios Nikolaos, a lively harbour town with an excellent variety of sophisticated shops and waterside cafés, together with Elounda - a 10 minute walk away along the front,- a pretty fishing village and harbour, boasting some of the world's most famous five star hotels, alongside romantic waterside tavernas and restaurants.
Beyond Elounda is the unspoilt fishing village and beaches of Plaka, from where you can take a boat trip to the famous fortress island of Spinalonga, once inhabited by the Venetians in the 15th century and later used as a leper colony up to 1957. For Golfers there is a championship course about 40 minutes away at Hersonissos.
Conditions
Payment is preferred in sterling as above, but can be made in euros at the exchange rate current at the time of full payment being received, providing this has been specifically agreed in advance.
Written confirmation with the applicable 20% deposit of the total accommodation cost is required to secure the booking, once received a receipt will be sent.
Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to the start of the rental period, for less than 6 weeks, the total amount is required at time of booking.
Cheques are acceptable although Bankers Drafts or Bank Transfers are preferable for speed of confirmation.
The villa will be cleaned twice a week and the bedding and towelling will also be changed twice a week. Smoking is not allowed inside the villa.
A meet and greet service at Elounda is provided, to show you to the villa and demonstrate all the facilities within it. This is included in the rental price between the hours of 08.00-20.00hrs local time.
Between 20.00-24.00hrs local time - a surcharge of £30.00 is payable. Between 00.00-08.00hrs local time a surcharge of £50.00 is payable.
Please advise the owner of your arrival times, so that it can be added to the final payment.
