When Villa Theano(Home 98476, please find link at the bottom of the advert) was built back in 2005, who would have thought we could improve on the quality and luxury? New for 2010 we have done just that in the building of our property Villa St Nicholas!
The beautiful pool and separate yet adjoining Jacuzzi is a must in the heat of the day followed by a night sat under the pergola enjoying the bar-b-cue area or on the balcony surveying the views and stars in the night sky.
As you step into the villa you are met by the comfortable yet classy living/dining room and well-equipped kitchen. Up the sweeping staircase to the first floor double bedroom en suite with Jacuzzi and shower, and the first of the twin bedrooms with en suite shower room. With easy access to the large balcony overlooking the pool and garden area. The second twin with en suite shower is on the second floor set in a diamond shaped room. The two twin bedrooms host continental beds that can be made up as doubles or twins.
A truly wonderful location. Just 3km from the charm and cosmopolitan town of Agios Nikolas, with its beautiful beaches, bustling nightlife and vast array of restaurants. That’s if we can pry you away from this luxurious home from home.

Agios Nikolaos, with over fourty years of experience in the tourism industry, is an international and cosmopolitan resort that welcomes thousands of visitors annually.
The lake is its most charming feature. Legend suggests that Athena and Artemis bathed in its waters. This lake is connected to the sea by a straight channel, while its natural surroundings of red rock and trees attract the visitor magnetically.
At a small open-air theatre by the lake, locals and visitors alike can enjoy interesting artistic and cultural presentations. A walk around the shops of Aghios Nikolaos is an enjoyable experience. In the many stores the visitor can find a wide selection of traditional Cretan artwork, copies of pieces from different archaeological museums, jewelry, and embroidery.
There are also many examples of woven goods and Byzantine icons.
There are bustling cafeterias, charming coffeehouses and taverns serving traditional Cretan Mezedes or tidbits of local food.
You can find innumerable opportunities for night-time entertainment at a variety of bars and discos. Visit the outdoor summer cinema ”Christina” where the surrounding walls are covered by honeysuckle, or find other places of entertainment where genuine Cretan feasts are always accompanied by local wine or strong raki.
A high quality and range of athletic facilities provides professional athletes and sports fans, and local and visiting amateur athletes with the opportunity to get involved in any sports. There is a football pitch, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, beach volley facilities, mini-golf and swimming pools, all providing the opportunity for exercise and fun.

Excellent villa, very well equipped, and modern. Poool gardens and bbq area are first class, and everything is kept spotless. Antonis is a top guy and very helpful. Would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to family and friends. |

We stayed at Villa St Nicolas in July 2010 and had a great time, the Villa is beautifully equipped - we especially loved the built-in Miele coffee machine and the massive Wide screen TV and surround sound system - remember to bring lots of DVDs!
The location of the villa was quiet and good for local shops and beaches etc - it was about 1 hr 15 mins drive from Heraklion airport.
The Air conditioning was very quiet and efficient - which was good as it was very hot!
The pool and outside jacuzzi was also great fun.
I would recommend visiting Spinalonga Isand and Voulisma Beach - both of which are quite close by.
The owner was very attentive and keen to ensure we all had a good holiday - Recommended
