Spacious 110 sqm apartment with terrace at gardenfloor of a lovely chateau. This family apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The apartment has high ceiling and the living a huge window bay opened on the terrace and the lavander garden. The terrace is furnished with garden table and sunbath chairs. You have a free access to castle communal facilities including a full sized heated pool, gym room, tennis court, billiard, table tennis, table football and bicycles. Within the chateau, you will find a libray aera with books writen in english, german or french and you can enjoy to play piano in the main stair case hall. Surrounded by vineyard and landscape the castle is at 1miles from Servian village where you will find supermarket, shops, restaurant and a typical weekly market. The castle is peacefull and family friendly. Located between the medieval town of Pezenas and Beziers, you have an easy access from the castle to the sandy beaches or the famous gorge of the countryside. The castle has several charming apartment from 1 to 4 bedrooms each. Each apartment has a unique character and a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave oven, 4 hob, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, boiler, etc) with also a wine bottle storage filled with a selection of local wines. Double bed are queen size beds (1,60m x 2,00m) and the second bedroom can be in twins single bed configured. Each morning you can have backeries delivered at your door and in summer a professionnal restaurant operates for dinner on terrace.

The Languedoc-Roussillon region

The Languedoc stretches from the Rhone Valley to the Spanish border and eastern Pyrenees, from the spectacular Massif Central mountain range, through hills and plains carpeted with vines and olive groves to the Mediterranean's beaches and lagoons full of oyster and mussel beds. This rich diversity ensures that there is something to suit all tastes and interests.

The area is steeped in history from the Cathar Castles in the Pyrenean foothills to the Crusader towns of Aigues Mortes and La Couvertoirade. The Roman towns of Nimes, Arles, Narbonne and Avignon are rich of monument. The medieval town of St Guilhem le Desert is not to be missed for its fabulous setting and it's famous abbey. The Pezenas town at 10 mn has a pedestrian center with creative craftsman and antics shops. The famous Moliere began his career in this typical old town where you will find many typical French restaurants.

Swimming in the river at the mouth of the Gorges d'Herault is only a twenty minute drive; canoes can be hired on the large sandy beach for breathtaking views as you paddle up the gorge. The beautiful Lake Salagou or the sea cost beaches are twenty minutes away and offer safe bathing, windsurfing, sailing, pedelo or sailing. The Saint thomas golf course is at 10 km and others several excellent Golf courses are available in Montpellier, Lamalou les Bains and Cap d'Agde.

The varied countryside is a walker's paradise the footpaths are well marked, local tourist offices provide suggested itineraries to suit all levels of ability. The spectacular limestone rock formations give rise to wonderful gorges and scenery including the Cirque de Navacelles, Cirque de Moureze, Gorge d'Herault and the caves of Clamouse and Desmoiselles.

The sophisticated City of Montpellier is a haven for shoppers with its ancient narrow streets offering everything from antiques to the best in French Haute Couture.

Weekly street markets are held in Pezenas, Gignac, Agde, Clermont Herault and a flower market in Beziers. Here you will find an unbeatable array of local produce including olives, cheeses, fruit, vegetables and colorful Provencal textiles


The chateau was constructed on the site of a middle aged fortress. It was rebuilt in 1832 by a Marquis and has been owned by several local noble families. The history of the chateau is reflected in the names of many of the apartments within the chateau and it's grounds. The present owner lives in part of the chateau with his young family and looks forward welcoming you to this fairy tale setting.

There are at present 22 apartments accommodating from two to six persons and also an independent house with private pool sleeping eight in four bedrooms.

Each property has it's own terrace or patio for dining. Guests have free use of over 50 hectares of parkland and grounds, fitness room, outside heatd pool, tennis court, billiard, mountain Bikes, table tennis, table football and internet; In the garden you will find open terrace with sun bath chairs; The chateau is surrounded by vines and each apartment has a wine store with a selection of local wines.

During the summer a bar operates at the pool house terrace and a professional restaurant with terrace on the vineyard. There are daily deliveries of bakery goods at your door in time for breakfast. A massage parlour is available on site with relaxing massage service. A laundry service is also available on-site.
