Home description

We offer dormitory style accommodation (4 per room) or a family room with a double and two singles or two doubles. The guest share a large salon and shower room. There is a roof terrace with views of village and mountains. The price is 150 MAD per person per night.

We provide a good breakfast of your choice - Moroccan with fresh bread, honey, argan oil and amlow (peanut sauce) or a full English, both with freshly squeezed orange juice and tea or coffee. Photos to follow.

The Agadir region

Apart from the famous surf breaks in the area you can satisfy many other interests, e.g. bird-watching, walking, mountain-biking, geological adventures, shopping and simply relaxing.

The surf season is October to March, although good breaks arrive at all times of the year. The winter can be cold in the evenings but we have Berber blankets and a wood fire to keep you warm.

Agadir Town area

Agadir has a very large indoor souk where you can buy everything from second hand goods, including clothes and furniture, to gold jewellery, fruit and vegetable and a huge variety of souvenirs and leather goods.

There are also many good beach front restaurants in Agadir and some nightclubs.

How to get there

By air to Agadir Al Massira, or Marrakech and then bus to Agadir.

Hire car recommended. Can collect from airport.

Or overland via Spain and ferry to Morocco and two day drive along beautiful coast.

Further details indoors:
There is a small dining area next to the kitchen and a large salon for watching DVDs or television. The bedrooms are large and cool but a log fire is provided in the salon for cold nights if you visit in the winter. The beds are clean and comfortable.

We recommend a hire car for visiting the many and varied sites around this area, including north of Agadir, Paradise Valley, the protected Massa Lagoon for bird-watching, and many local souks.

From the roof terrace you can see the mountains around Tiz 'n Test and although you cannot see the sea as the village is in a dip you can hear the surf. We can organise camel ride to the nearest beaches across open country.

Further details outdoors:
The local beaches are mostly surf beaches. The owners can also provide secluded days in their own cave house on a nearby secret beach.
