The Agadir region
Agadir is surrounded by the Atlas mountains and has a wonderful 9 km long sandy beach, plenty restaurants, a relaxed atmosphere, and the people are friendly and hospitable. It also provides year round sunshine on the Atlantic coast . Agadir is a thriving destination for organised tours. It is a perfect location from which to visit other sights such as the stunning Paradise Valley, the Atlas foothills with its Berber villages or even an oasis in the desert. The person who looks after the flat (and welcomes you in the flat) is Berber Moroccan from the Agadir region. If needed, he would be happy to give tips and advice on what to do, see, etc.
Agadir Town area
Agadir offers a wealth of amenities and facilities (restaurants, shops, excellent water sports, 3 golfs, etc.) available for the holiday tourist. The beaches nearby are considered a surfer's paradise. To maximise your visit at the beach, you can treat yourself by renting pedalos, jetskis, surfboards and surfskis. You can also hire horses, camels and dune strikes. Only 45 minutes away from the modern resort city of Agadir you will find Taroudant, also named the “Little Marrakech”. Go there to experience the real sights and sounds of Morocco including busy souks and narrow winding streets.

From the airport taxis can be found directly outside the arrivals hall. Fares to the city centre are fixed at 150 dirham, during the day and 200 dirham after 7pm. The journey time is about 20 minutes.
