Experience traditional Greek hospitality in our family operated Kavos Bay Hotel - budget accommodation in the most tranquil and exclusive location in the Saronic Gulf!

Our hotel consists of 27 double rooms some of which can take an extra bed (camp bed). All our comfortable rooms are en suite with air-conditioning, TV, fridge and breathtaking sea views from the balcony or terrace. Prices include an enriched buffet breakfast which is served in our breakfast room or on the beautiful open terrace overlooking the sea.

Swimming, snorkelling and fishing are possible at our private and secluded beach with crystal clear waters located right in front of our hotel. You can snorkel, swim, or just read a good book under the natural shade of pine trees. Sunbeds and beach umbrellas are available for our guests at free of charge.

Cold drinks and home-cooked meals, made from the finest local ingredients, are served throughout the day and into the evening at very reasonable prices.

The Attica region

Aegina Island is located only one hour from Athens by ferry with easy access from the port of Piraeus, which is the main port of Athens.

The journey on the boat is only one hour and the fare is 10 Euros per person each way. I'ts best to take the boat that goes directly to the port of Aghia Marina which is located only a 5 minute drive from our hotel.

When you come to Aghia Marina we will be happy to offer you free transfer service to our hotel.

Aegina is a beautiful green island just next to Athens, offering it's visitor a variety of pleasant possibilities.
The famous Monastery of Aghios Nektarios, The Temple of Afea, a water park, the great fish market, archealogical sites & museums, shops, restaurants & cafes, are only a few of the main attractions on the island.

Aghia Marina is the prettiest spot on the island with a lovely long sandy beach and a seaside pine tree forest where nature walks are just a real pleasure. Just follow the walking paths and discover amazing unspoilt locations with breathtaking views in a land of paradise. Our hotel is located in the heart of the pine forest with an easy stroll to the town centre where one will find a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, car/bike hire, harbour and local bus stop.

We also offer free shuttle bus service to and from the town centre for our guests.

How to get there

From Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) take the bus, train or taxi to the port of Piraeus. The bus is your best and cheapest choice. The bus terminal in Piraeus is just next to the ferries leaving to Aegina and Aghia Marina.

From the port of Piraeus take the ferry or hydrofoil to Aghia Marina or Aegina. It's best to take the boat to Aghia Marina because it brings you to a port just a 5 minute drive to Kavos Bay. The boat journey is only an hour and the boat fare is about 10 Euros per person each way.

1) Even if I stay in this hotel one night and one day, I am very impressed by the reception. The hosts are very nice, helpful and kind. When I have the problem (because of the strike of boats), they give us a help. As regards the characters and the atmosphere, it’s perfect, view on the Aegean sea of the room, it is very pleasant and romantic! The room is clean and decent. It’s recommended to spend your holidays here, you are not surely disappointed !

2) This place is absolutely amazing... Secluded and very quaint, but also close to the town of Agia Marina... The people who work there are amazing, they were very welcoming and generous... they even drove us to the bus stop when we left. It's incredibly romantic, and a perfect place to get away and relax on a lovely small island. I would definitely go back.
