A hire car is recommended here but there are nearby bus stops,

THERE ARE NOW A/C UNITS IN ALL THE BEDROOMS (SUMMER 2014) , the rest of the villa has fans and plenty of large sliding doors and windows that can be left open at night as they have mosquito netting. The villa doesn't get overly hot even in August, as it catches the sea breezes.

Further details outdoors

The pool is about 9 x 3 m and has aluminium steps.

As this property is built into the hillside to make the most of the fantastic views, there are a lot of steps.

Also, the garden is set in terraces, so not suitable for small children or the infirm, I'm afraid.

It is ideal for grown ups and families with teenage youngsters who all want to find sailing, power boating, fishing and other water sports near bars, restaurants and a bit of nightlife!!!

Further details

Flexible on changeover days.

Weekly maid service with a change of linen , bath & hand towels and kitchen cloths is included in the price , extra cleaning is available upon request.

Although smoking is not prohibited, we would ask that smokers do so outside.

The Balearic Islands region

When you are trying to find the perfect place to get away from it all, to leave all your worries and stress behind, you will first remember all the things you have been dreaming about doing on your “ideal holiday”. Some people just want to be able to relax by a pool knowing that the fully stocked bar fridge is only a couple of paces away, followed by warm evenings having supper on the harbour and dancing until the early hours.

Others would prefer to be near a beach with activities for the children, do a bit of snorkelling, have a light lunch at a decent restaurant and go back to a nice villa and swimming pool.

You might find taking long walks along the coast or doing a sailing course, helps you to unwind. Or maybe horse riding in the Mediterranean countryside or renting a couple of bicycles for cross country exploring.

Menorca can offer you all this and more. This wonderful Island has so much more to offer than just summer sun and beach holidays. The Spring and Autumn are beautiful here too, with fields full of poppies and thistles, migrating birds and quiet beaches.

So please let me help you find your ideal holiday property, here on Menorca.

Addaya / Addaia

Port Addaia ( also written Port Addaya & Port d'Addaia ) is quiet and perfect for sailors and boat lovers. It is set on the headland near Cala Moli a very picturesque inlet, and is a natural harbour, therefore it's not surprising that boats & yachts are the main feature here. As this is also a residential area you will be able to mix with the locals, this also means that the restaurants, bars and shops will cater for more authentic food and local tastes.

Port d' Addaia has a scenic coastal footpath winding its way around the whole of Addaia connecting on the other side to a little inlet called Cala Moli with views over neighbouring Na Macaret.

There is no beach at Port d'Addaia, but there are two very attractive serviced beaches along the coast at Arenal d'en Castell and Son Parc and another south east at Es Grau, which is part of a nature reserve and totally unspoilt. There is a local sandy beach at nearby fishing village of Na Macaret.

Son Parc has lots of bars & restaurants about 10 minutes walk away from the beach, where you can hire a sun shade and lounger, pedalo, etc. There is a good beach bar/restaurant with toilets and showers.

The nearest Menorcan towns are Es Mercadal, Alayor and the traditional fishing village of Fornells. There is a very good watersports centre here and some wonderful local cuisine restaurants.

There is an Info Book in the villa that gives you all the information you need regarding special dates, Fiestas (the Jaleo is when the Menorcan horses and riders perform to the local band during each towns Fiesta - quite unique!) , places to visit, safety and driving tips, emergency numbers...........etc
