The Limerick/Tipperary region

The southwest of ireland is world famous for its beautiful scenery with excellent beaches and unspoilt villages and towns.

And the local people could not be more warm and friendly.

The area is a perfect touring base for the southwest of ireland where you can visit its many attractions. But always returning to a real irish rural escape.Where peace and quite can be very welcomed after a hard day touring.

"Great old historical family home, perfect host, beautiful quiet location."

Gary was a great host. Property was clean and had fruit on the kitchen table and milk in the frig. There was firewood already in the fireplace which made for a wonderful evening setting. His family history with the house and how he personally restored it, is inspiring. If you are looking for a place in town with all the action, this is not the place for you. If you want a real taste of Ireland, down a quiet secluded road, then I highly recommend this cottage.

"A renovated, spacious, comfortable and authentic 300 year old cottage"

This cottage is well placed to explore County Limerick and neighbouring counties. It is very spacious and the owners willingly share their passion for the history of the Palatines who were settled in the area in the early 1700s. The cottage is well equipped, rooms are spacious, décor is fitting as it retains an atmosphere of days gone by. It is located in a very peaceful spot with lovely lawn and garden.
