About the home

The country house “Pomantello” from the 17th Century is picturesquely situated on a hilltop offering spectacular views. The adjacent nature park Monte Rufeno borders our property and the medieval village Torre Alfina is visible in the distance.

Our five lovely vacation homes have been furnished with care for detail and all the comforts of home, all done in a rustic style with terracotta and timber beam floors, antique furnishings and decorated with fine and traditional art from the local artists of the area.

On the hilltop, the main house is situated with a spacious apartment and two adjoining building with smaller apartments.

The Lazio region

The Lago di Bolsena, situated between Florence and Rome, is one of the largest crater lakes in Europe (114km).

With its clear, clean water the lake is ideal for swimming, sailing and surfing.

The breathtaking countryside, friendliness of the people, and many - seemingly unchanged - ancient village, make this a most interesting and enjoyable holiday destination!

The Acquapendente / Torre Alfina area

Easily reachable is the nature-reserve Monte Rufeno, the picturesque village Torre Alfina and the Middle-Age village Acquapendente.
Other attractions in the surrounding area include:

Civita di Bagnoregio (a romantic ancient village on a cliff, reachable only on foot via a bridge)
