Villa / 6 bedrooms / sleeps 12
Villa Bordeaux is an 18th century property comprising a skillfully restored 500 square meters villa set on three levels, a lovely infinity pool (15m x 7m), and a wide panoramic terrace.
It is surrounded by a beautiful garden designed by the garden designer Linda Cena and by 5 hectares (about 2 1/2 acres) of private land, including a forest with a rich range of trees and plants.
The old villa has been restored by the architect Michela Genghini in an innovative and contemporary style while preserving its original materials.
Set in the hills around Todi, just 5 km west of the town center, this elegant residence, now a luxury vacation villa, enjoys a glorious view which embraces the surrounding landscape as far as the banks of the Tiber.
Ideally located in the centre of Italy, Villa Bordeaux is only a 40 minute drive from Perugia, Orvieto, Assisi, Gubbio and Spoleto; it is 170 km away from Leonardo Da Vinci (Fiumicino) airport in Rome and 46 km from Perugia Airport.
The ancient town of Todi can be reached by a pleasant walk through the woods (just 3.5 km).
The understated elegance of the interiors makes for stylish living, particularly when you take advantage of the professional kitchen where you can fully indulge your creative gastronomic spirit. If you prefer a more relaxing holiday, then either a local cook, or, for a real touch of luxury, a professional chef can be hired in to look after your needs.
The 6 bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms, and thanks to the villa's hillside location they all have beautiful views over the countryside.

About this location
The Umbria region
Italy is a wonderful country that combines stunningly landscape with unique culture. From it's modern cities to its classic
countryside there is such a variety of wondrous things to see and do. Italy's unique culture stems from its history of being many individual states/provinces.
The countries shape means that the coast is easily accessible from practically anywhere in the country.
There are many fantastic things to do in the
local area. As well as all the normal tourist activities available there is a plethora of historical churches/monasteries that are well worth a visit. A trip here
would not be complete without sampling some of the delicious local food and, of course, the wine.
