From the owner

Our house is immersed in the quiet Sicilian countryside, two kilometers from the sea of Acitrezza. In the large outdoor patio in the shade of the centuries-old vine, the great olive tree and the apricot tree you can enjoy your breakfasts and dinners, perhaps picking fruit directly from the tree. The large garden will surprise you with bananas, strawberries, oranges, lemons, various vegetables, all strictly organic, to taste the flavors of freshly picked products.

Our accommodation is made unique by the location, the view you enjoy, and the tranquility, while being a few kilometers from the town center. A few hundred meters away, a small village, inhabited all year long, will take you back in time, keeping you away from the stress, and the noise of the city. In our accommodation the daily rhythms are marked by the bell of the church of Borgo Baracche, and by the lives of farmers who cultivate the land. It is possible to meet on the street the flock of sheep moving from the sheep.

The accommodation is equipped with every comfort, making your stay unforgettable, as indicated by those who have already been our guest. At the beginning of autumn, in the large olive grove, the olive harvesting is handwritten, to which it is possible to participate. Each day the olives harvested are taken to the oil mill to extract the extra virgin olive oil.

Upon your arrival a seasonal fruit basket await you to relieve the fatigue of the journey. We can accommodate up to 6 people, distributed in two double bedrooms overlooking the legendary Cyclops Riviera and Lachea Island, and two additional beds are available in the living room using the sofa bed.Guests have access to the outdoor patio where they can have breakfast, lunch or dinner, a large terrace overlooking the garden, the bananeto, and the sea of Aci Trezza. You can rest in the sunny summer afternoons in the shade of the centuries-old carob, with the background of the inevitable screech of the cicada. An ancient patio with cistern, the barbecue with charcoal to cook what you want, without any limitation of times and days, will make your holiday unique. By booking it is possible to access and use the rustic obtained from an ancient sheepfold, restored respecting the tradition, equipped with a kitchen and a wood-burning oven.

We will always be happy to show you the production of our biosergic and traditional vegetable garden, of which you can collect and taste vegetables in total biological regime. On request the owners organize dinners and lunches with typical local products. It is possible to organize excursions on Mount Etna on foot or by mountain bike with a guide, or excursions in the Timpa di Acireale. we are very happy to help you so that your holiday is unforgettable!!
