Ledgowan today is of course a Country House Hotel, however over Christmas and New Year weeks it's possible to let the main hotel as a self catering lodge.
Aside from the hotel's bar Ledgowan still looks, feels and breaths the very fine iconic, well kept Scottish Sporting Lodge is was built to be, and what a Splendid job they did when they completed this stunning lodge back in 1905. Taking 6 years to build the Logan brothers and their team must have put every effort into Ledgowan as attention to detail is second to none. Fit for a Lord and owned by a Lord it was! Originally built for a Major Ross and later owned by Lord Latymer of Coutts bank in London. From a prestigious bank to a prestigious Sporting lodge, the fine detailed gold cornicing, masses of perfect wood panelling and large open staircase with stained glass window to the chandleries and candelabras dripping in fine lead crystal and yards of heavy curtain fabrics.
Boasting 12 spacious ensuite letting bedrooms sleeping up to 22 guests, Ledgowan really is perfect for the larger groups or for the perfect family gathering. With masses of ground floor relaxing public rooms to formal dining rooms and function suites whatever your reason for letting a large house Ledgowan will surly accommodate your needs.
Included with your let is all linen and towels. wood, coal and peat for the fires. and the lodge if fully centrally heated.
