The Scottish Highlands region

In the heart of the magnificent North-West Highlands of Scotland, Port Beag Chalets offer self-catering accommodation a stone's throw from the rock pools dotting the shoreline, overlooking the stunning Summer Isles on the Coigach peninsula. Perfect for family and friends to get together, or for a quiet break away from it all, we have four chalets on one croft which all sleep 6 and one which sleeps 4 on a separate croft nearby. Port Beag is only a 5 minute walk from the local family friendly bar, Am Fuaran, which offers hearty meals with local seafood a speciality, and from the Summer Isles Foods shop. The bay in which the chalets sit is perfect for kayakers, and the nearby cliffs of Reiff and the surrounding beaches and majestic mountains of Coigach and Assynt make for a perfect action-packed holiday. Or, just sit in front of your picture window in the chalet and watch the wildlife and the waves roll by with a glass of wine in hand ...

Achiltibuie

With the shoreline on your doorstep and surrounded by mountains, beaches, islands and a mesmerising sea, Port Beag is ideal whether you are on holiday to kayak around the Summer Isles, walk hills and paths, look up at the starry sky, climb cliffs and mountains, bird watch, explore rock pools, enjoy local seafood, cycle, build sandcastles, take a boat trip, or just relax in front of your picture window in the chalet and watch the waves roll by and the constantly changing beautiful Highland light with a glass of wine in hand! Our location is truly breathtaking - we are set on the shore front looking over the bay to Old Dornie Harbour, and out to the Summer Isles and Minch. You would be hard pressed to find a better location.
