Achill Island

These traditional stone cottages are situated just outside Dugort Village on the north side of Achill Island 8 miles from Achill Sound and joined to the mainland by causeway. An onsite Tennis Court is free to use - just bring racquets and ball. Located at the foot of Slievemore mountain there are un-interrupted views of Minaun Cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean. It is within a mile of a blue Flag beach and choice of pubs and restaurants. Walking, fishing, wind surfing and hill climbing are popular sports on the island .

~ Right by the Atlantic coast, hidden in a small bay on Achill Island, you find the most westerly public garden in Ireland - Achill Secret Garden is open March - August.
