This is a cosy traditional Irish cottage on wild and beautiful Achill Island. It sits in a 2 acre shore side garden with all round views of the mountains and the sea yet less than 2 miles from Achill Sound, forming a romantic and tranquil hide away for those eager to escape the stress of modern life. Achill is Irelands largest island and is connected to the mainland via a road bridge and is a wonderful place for those who enjoy the outdoor life with fabulous unspoilt scenery. There are several blue flag beaches, golf, fishing, cycling and walking available locally. There is a wide range of pubs with live music sessions and plenty of "craic".
During the summer the seals come up onto the rocks off the shore.
