Glad you enjoyed your stay and found the property comfortable and spacious. I am always seeking to improve things at Lynmore, so your feedback is greatly appreciated. To that end, I have purchased eight new wine glasses and some more cutlery. Also I have added two new local books with details about the Tarland way and walks near to and around Tarland which at available at the information point. I am looking to add decking where the old greenhouse was and will invest in new furniture when that project is finished in the coming months.

Thanks very much for your review and glad you had a comfortable stay at Lynmore. I value customer's feedback very highly and after considering the extra luggage you had to take with you, have now purchased a travel cot and a high chair for future guests. There is also a bag of electrical socket safety covers in the utility room, if parents feel the need to use them during their stay. Glad you had a wonderful stay, hope to see you again soon.

"Lovely spacious property in a beautiful location"

I stayed for the weekend with both adults and children and found the property to be excellent value for money. It was very spacious with all the home comforts you could need. The scenery on the drive to Tarland was beautiful and the property was very easy to get to with the directions provided by the owner. The only downside was the limited tv channels but there was plenty of other activities for us to do. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit this area.

Thanks for your review and glad your stay at Lynmore was pleasant and comfortable. I appreciate your feedback regarding TV channels. The terrestrial TV signal is not strong enough for the Digital TV receiver, one of the few downsides of living in a remote scenic location, I guess ! So there is now a FreeSat box installed to overcome this and all the usual Freeview channels are available. Also there is now a DVD player and a selection of family movies in the living room cupboard plus a few new board games. Thanks again for your feedback.

"A fabulously spacious house in a glorious, historic part of Scotland"

Tarland is a lovely little village and the directions were easy enough to follow. (there are only a few roads in the area) The house front does not begin to show the sprawling area within. The vestibule is the size of my kitchen!! Plenty room for our mountain bikes. Lovely fresh décor within and the complimentary wine, tea and coffee was a nice surprise.
I can honestly say that the bed within the master bedroom is the comfiest bed I have ever laid my head on!
I had use of the en suite, but the main bathroom is delightful on aching feet with cozy under floor heating and a Jacuzzi bath….be careful if you put in too much bubble bath!!
We visited Ballater Braemar, and also a FABULOUS place called Burn-o-Vat on the Muir of Dinnet (about 4 miles away on gorgeous little Scottish roads) it's a collapsed waterfall, which sound weird but is truly spectacular with a gorgeous walk and picnic areas to take your breath away.
All in all we had a terrific introduction to Aberdeenshire and the Highlands and will definitely be back as soon as possible to explore further afield.

Thanks for the review. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and looking forward to welcoming you back for another stay.
