8 miles from the University and Seaside town of Aberystwyth with National Library, Museum, Leisure Centre, Castle, Shopping, Golf Course, Cycle path, Narrow Gage Railway to Devils Bridge with its famous Water Falls and many lovely walks.
11 miles from the Historic Town of Machynlleth with Cycle path, Foot paths, Leisure Centre, Golf Course, Wales' first Parliament House dating back to the 15th Century and Street Market on Wednesdays. A few more miles North is the Centre for Alternative Technology and just a little further is the Corris Craft Centre and King Arthur's Labyrinth.
Other things to do and see in the area include the Ynys Hir Nature Reserve and Sand dunes, walking, cycling, sightseeing, seaside, golfing, bird watching and fishing. The Silver and Lead Mines at Llywernog and the Water Falls and Steps at Devils Bridge are also well worth a visit.
