We offer FIVE exceptional Self Catering Holiday Cottages and Country House Bed & Breakfast (B&B) accommodation near Abersoch in a delightful and unique setting, with every attention paid to your comfort and enjoyment for your vacation or holiday, including free wi-fi. Our holiday cottages are in Llanbedrog, which is a short distance from Abersoch and Pwllheli, in the heart of the Lleyn / Llyn Peninsula. Wern Fawr Manor Farm is a quiet haven, yet Llanbedrog beach, owned by the National Trust, is only 1.5 miles away; Abersoch, a lively boating village, 3 miles away and Pwllheli with a wide range of shops is 5 miles away. Savour the freedom of our cottages or experience the luxury of the farmhouse. We have ample parking for your cars and boats. We are a pet friendly establishment, where you can walk in our woodlands straight from your cottage or room, or go to a local dog friendly beach - so bring your dog or pet to Abersoch and stay with us.
Unlike many other self catering holiday cottages in the area (booked through Agencies), these cottages are our business and not second homes, we do all the cleaning and maintenance to ensure that they are of the highest standards and we are on site to help and advise on activities, walks, pubs, restaurants etc in the area as well as sorting out any niggles you may have as quickly as possible, after all your holiday is of paramount importance to us.

Wern Fawr Manor Farm, North Wales, is a Grade II * - 16th Century Country House, which has been extensively restored by the current owners. Situated in approximately 60 acres of its own grounds, 6.25 acres of gardens and fields and 54 acres of woodlands, where we are gradually creating nature trails and woodlands walks in for our guests to enjoy, all this is surrounded by open countryside, it is on the outskirts of Llanbedrog, close enough to enjoy what Abersoch has to offer, we are right in the heart of the Lleyn / Llyn Peninsula, an area designated as one of outstanding natural beauty.

Our properties are family and pet friendly. We welcome cyclists, golfers, walkers we are ideally situated for walks. Availability and prices per property per week are on our web site or ring to enquire. We also offer short breaks in non-peak season, the prices is based on a percentage of the weekly rate:
2 nights – 60% of weekly rate
3 Nights - 70% of weekly rate
4 Nights - 85% of weekly rate
more than 4 nights – 100% of weekly rate
A 30% deposit is required on booking with the balance payable 60 days prior to your holiday both either by cheque, cash or bank transfer.

The North Wales / Snowdonia/Gwynedd region
Lleyn / Llyn is approximately 35 miles long by 10 miles at its widest. The hills are rich in prehistoric remains with holy wells and a pilgrimage route to Bardsey Island. Even today no main road penetrates to the tip of the peninsula. Guarded by Caernarfon Castle in the north and Harlech in the south, the area is now designated as one of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Between both coastlines, the mountains offer walking opportunities and magnificent views as they plunge down to the sea, allowing coastal villages to nestle in the coves. On a clear day look across Caernarfon Bay to Anglesey or Ireland and to the south Cardigan Bay. This area retains the Welshness of Wales, the language being used during daily transactions by young and old alike.
The Abersoch area
We are conveniently situated for all that Lleyn / Llyn can offer you as a walker, water-skier, yachtsman, pony trekker, golfer, scuba diver or just someone who wants to lie on the beach. There are numerous activities nearby, for example: golf at Pwllheli, Abersoch and Morfa Nefyn; horse riding; clay shooting/archery; quad bikes; ten pin bowling; gardens; galleries etc. We are also close to the many attractions found in Lleyn / Llyn, for example: Snowdon, Llanberis, Portmeirion, Ffestiniog Railway, and castles. There are many good local pubs and restaurants nearby these and attraction details are available in your cottage.
Lleyn / Llyn provides it all - no wonder it's called the Welsh Riviera!

From Pwllheli, head out on the Abersoch Road (A499). Approximately 4 miles later you will see a sign for Llanbedrog on the left. Follow the road and at the top of the hill (opposite a pub on the left the GLYN-Y-WEDDW ARMS) turn right to the village centre sign posted ABERDARON B4413. Follow the road for approximately 1 mile past the Chemist on the right until you reach a road on the right called LON PIN. There are signposts on the left of this road for Wern Fawr and Wern Newydd and on the right for the clay/archery school. Go along this road for approximately 1 mile - passing 'The Shooting School' (Wern Newydd) on right and take the next turning right - house name is signposted on either side of the drive. Follow the farm road bearing left at the stone barn, past some derelict buildings on left. Go down the hill and Wern Fawr Manor Farm is in front of you. Please hoot your horn on arrival as we could be anywhere in the grounds!
